International Budget Hostel

Amsterdam, Netherlands

This hostel had a perfect location, staff was really nice (especially the guy from Barcelona, he was so friendly), the bathrooms were good... But they come into your room at 9 am telling people it's time to check out or change rooms, which is so annoying! It seems very likely that you'll change rooms while you're staying here, regardless of what you booked. Also, you might wake up hearing rats running around at night... When they say don't bring food in the room, that's why!!!

Red Nest Hostel Valencia

Valencia, Spain

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean, there is WiFi all over the building, it's very safe here, staff is helpful, its close to everything, the activities are really fun, the common areas are big and there is always people around, seems like a very social place, great for solo travellers... If you're going to Valencia... stay here!!!!

La Posada de Huertas

Madrid, Spain

This was a great hostel! Its walking distance to all of Madrid's major attractions. The staff is wonderful and helpful. I loved the pub crawl and tapas experience. The walking tour with Erica was great. A few problems... the WiFi only works in the lobby and everyone seemed to be having problems with it. The outlets in my room didn't work. the room was kind of hot at night... but if you open the window its VERY loud outside. I would definitely stay here again though!
