Good hostel, well located, nice breakfast and great staff. With a few improvements like a bar, working fridge for the guests, chairs on backyard, working barbecue place and clean pool could be great. I was considering cancelling the last night with 2 days in advance due to the lack of wind for kitesurf but the owner was zero flexible to refund me... gave me all kind of reasons (credit card, hostelworld and blablabla). In those times you see who really want to please you or just want your money
Very nice and new hostel at the heart of Belavista. The staff is super helpful, walking distance from the subway, good breakfast and nice view.
Great location in the city center. Walking distance for everything you need. The rooms are quite old, at the same time you have a retro feeling but on the other hand could use a refurbish. The staff is very helpful with tips and money exchange.
Hostel with a soul, great staff and good place to meet other travellers
Great location, huge kitchen and good communal room. Some parts are under renovation and it's not the cleanest. Other than that is the best cost benefit in town
Very nice and modern hostel, great party athmosphere. The rooms are very small, hardly fit the bag between the beds. Bit overpriced and the location is not so good for basic tourism
Great hostel right on the Alps. The house is very nice and modern. The owners are the best, very thoughtful and can help in everything that you need.
Great hostel, walking distance from the station, nice kitchen and spacious rooms. Big and confortable beds, if you are used to futton style. The staff is the best in Japan, they will help you in any way they can. they even took all the guests on their own cars to a spring festival!
Great hostel, walking distance from the JR station. Not the cheapest, but I would stay there again.
Great place for a capsule experience and explore the Shinjuku area. Just behind the Golden Gai bars. The capsules were okay and the Onsen not very hot. The check in staff (guys) were very Japanese and polite but everything was ruined by the rude woman from the front desk. She was giving everyone a hard time as an military person. I could not even go to the restaurant or use the bathroom after I checked out. I would not stay there again or reccomend just because of her.
The best place to stay if you have the JR pass, well located, nice rooms and the best staff from Japan! The communal + kitchen is in the basement so you can be very noisy till very late. Great place to meet people!
This is the place to have a japanese traditional stay with a youth feeling. The place is very stylish, well located, big rooms and the communal area is excellent. The only downside is that they close for cleaning, but okay for 1 or 2 nights.
Very authentic japanese house. the dorm has some wood walls to divide the beds which gives you a lot o privacy. The owner is always there, very helpful but do not speak a very good English. Very small kitchen but with everything you might need. And the communal room is japanese style.
The location is perfect, walking distance from the busiest street of Osaka. The onsen is an authentic experience and also the capsule itself. Don't expect to meet other westerns travellers as the place is focused on japanese business man and also the frontdesk does not speak english (the only rude japanese that i met in my travellings). And be careful with the check in/out time, very military. They also charge 200 to keep the luggage.
That's a really awesome hostel, very modern and loft/old factory style. Good rooms and excelent showers. Only the location is not the best if you want some nightlife, very far from Roppongi and impossible to pay USD50 to go back by taxi. The hostel bar is an option for a relaxed night drink.
Very good location and also near the metro. Beds are okay but don't look under. Bathrooms always smelly but maybe it's a Chinese std. Good cafe area and very slow internet, also a Chinese std. Other than that you can meet a lot of international travelers and the staff is very helpful
My second time in there, and I've been in others hostels in BKK. This one is definitely the best for the money, very modern, clean, huge lockers and good location (near the skytrain). The only down side, this time there were a lot of Chinese groups, they are very loud and messy. It kind of ruins the atmosphere for a independent traveler that wants to meet other backpackers and have a good time.
Very good hostel, looks like a big apartment with 3 big dorms. The staff is great, they will help you for sure. Good location, nearby the metro station and also very, very clean. There is a lady that is always cleaning everything that she can. Even the air condition filter, I saw her cleaning twice in one week, impressive. I was worried about the two bathrooms for 3 dorms but I was okay and never had to wait too long.
Not the cleanest and not the safest but very nice and charming hostel. The staff (Darling and Peter) are the best and would help you in anyway you need. The location is beautiful, best sunset view in town although still 10 - 15 min walking to the city. Great atmosphere, full of independent travelers. If you want to meet people, this is the place.
Like a little oasis in the middle of the city. Open bungalow in the middle of the fruit trees as common area. Good, clean and spacious rooms. Staff is very helpful. Just a bit off the market so you have to walk a bit or have a scooter. And not a very sociable hostel as everybody is just looking for chill in this place.
This is the place to be for the Full Moon Party. The hostel itself offers a good dorm, good showers and some hard mattress (futton stlyle on 19 ppl dorm). The air con is perfect for the hangovers. The atmosphere is as party as it can get and the 5 days minimun sucks when you do the reservation but end up to be the best thing as you bond with everybody!
Best hostel in Thailand! Modern, clean, huge beds and lockers and plenty of bathroom/showers. Also a good value for the money.
The best hostel in Thailand, modern, clean, hips of showers and excellent location. And also very cheap considering this high standards. The rooftop live music is a huge plus for a great stay.
New, modern and hipster style hostel. Big rooms, nice communal areas, and some nice details as power plugs everywhere. The staff is amazing and even helped me over the phone before my stay. Flawless!
If you are an independent traveller and wants to meet people this is the place to be. Biggest bed I've ever had in a hostel, the air con is a must in this town. Very helpfull staff and the most important, not push! But be aware, rooms are always full and very difficult to extend your stay!
The swimming pool at Cambodia Sahara heat was definitely a huge plus. Extremely helpful staff and Mark, the owner, is always there to help in anything. The free airport pickup will definitely save you money. Down side, the rooms are a bit old, noisy bunkers and only 2 bathrooms per floor, also no lockers. Located few minutes walking from Pub Street.
Very clean, nice and big dorm and even bigger lockers. The staff girl (called Two) is very helpful. The only downside is having to go 2 floors down to use the bathroom. The hostel is located couple minutes walking from the main street.
Very clean rooms and helpfull staff. But looks more like a small hotel than a hostel. If you are an independant traveller and want to meet people, or like hostel with good atmosphere, Hanoi Backpackers is a better choice.
Very clean, modern and spacious hostel. Nearby the metro station and helpful staff. I had to change rooms in the middle of my stay but the staff managed it in the best way.
Wow! great hostel, traditional building, helpful staff (and good looking - April). The cafe' downstairs serve the best food in town plus some live music performance (Amiria Grenell) that was one of the highlight of the trip.
Could not be a better place to stay. Great to meet people, you feel like your grandma's house. Free wifi, Free chocolate pudding, free towels, hot tub, bunkbeds that not shake and the most helpful staff. The best place in NZ that I stayed.
Great experience to spend some nights in a Jail. The rooms are not big as they were jails but worth the visit. The kitchen is huge and plenty of common areas. The only thing is that the staff could not (or did not want to) help me to check the roads condition, the first one did not even know about broken bridge (in the news all the time) and the second one only gave me a number to figure out myself.
Great party hostel, with a nightclub and a bar downstairs. Downside are: room are a bit small and one bathroom for 8 bed dorm, with no other in the floor is a bit anoying!
Good location, nice facilities, party hostel and helpful staff. Only downside was the heat in the room, only one weak ceiling fan for a room of six!
Excellent hostel, very new and modern. The staff is very nice and plenty of good food in the free breakfast. The communal areas are great, specially the garden and the TV room. Good place to meet people and a common choice for long term guests. There is no A/C, so in hot summer days it's not a good idea to stay in the room.
Very nice hostel in a traditional house. Huge kitchen and a lot of communal areas. The staff is very helpful.
I was my second time in Singapore and I highly recommend this hostel. Very nice place, modern, good location and excellent staff. I need a late check in and they were waiting for me at 1 a.m. with everything ready. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Good showers and plenty of bathrooms.
Very good hostel, nice, clean and modern. The rooms are spacious and the beds config gives you a lot of privacy. At night is a bit noisy because of the busy street. The pool is a plus! Good showers and bathroom. The breakfast is really simple. Overall is pricy for Indonesia but is a good place to arrive and them find your way.
Great hostel, walking distance from the 2 main streets of the city. Large and clean rooms. Good Showers and very authentic hostel. I highly recommend it.
Great location, nearby london bridge. Nice staff, good rooms, very nice bathrooms. The only thing that they were having a rat problem at the big room (22 people) but I'm sure that they already sorted out.
Very good location, the airport shuttle stops by the door and walking distance from the best bars in town. Very clean rooms (it's vacuumed everyday), spacious rooms and good bathrooms. The showers don't have temp control, sometimes it gets too hot. And the rooms don't have lockers, you can rent one downstairs but its very annoying to go all the way up and down everytime you what your stuff.
Nice party hostel, great location and very big dorm room
Great hostel, excellent location, just few minutes walking from london bridge. The staff is really helpful, good rooms with spacious lockers (a cage under the bunkbed) and plenty of showers.
Very good location, nice rooms with no bunk beds. Good en suite bathrooms and great facilities. For solo travelers is not the best place to meet people as its more a apartment than a hostel. And the staff is more a reception than anything else. Great terrace.
Great hostel, just between the city center and the beaches. The staff is very helpful and is always trying to entertain the guests. Very nice hostel to meet people (barbecue every day). The rooms are very spacious, with A/C (very important to Hvar summer) and nice bathrooms.
Very nice and new rooms, good bathrooms. The common room is not very big and welcoming so not the best place to meet people. And the location is kind of far from the Old town but not a issue if you don't mind walking or going by metro.
Great location, right at the Mkt Sq, my room had a window facing to it. Good kitchen and nice breakfast. The common room is next to the kitchen and it has just one small window, get really hot. Not the best place to meet people if you are travelling alone.
This is the kind of hostel that you feels like home, the living room and the kitchen are always full of people and the staff makes everybody fells good. Pete, the owner, is always around and knows everything about the city. Great location, Very clean and nice rooms. What else do you need?
Very nice located in the old town, definitely a party hostel - don't expect communal areas without loud music and people having fun. My room had a river view, the hostel have plenty of bathrooms and Showers. The room was bit dirty but no great deal. The Staff is great although mostly of the time busy with people checking in and out .
Very clean, a lot of bathrooms and Showers, 2 kitchens and great TV room with home theater and thousands of new movies to choose from. The latest check in that Ive ever stayed (noon) and the staff is really nice. Although not that helpful as they didn't know what's was going on in the week and couldn't help with ballet or circus tickets. Not a problem... The location is good, 5 minutes from the metro and 20 min from the red square. Only the atmosphere is not the best to know new people
This is definitely a Party hostel, the best staff I've ever found (Matt is the most helpful and fun guy - he really enjoys his job). The location is great, just in the middle of the old town and the facilities are fine. Some reviews were talking about just 1 bathroom, but there is others around the hostel that you can use. I stayed for 5 days and never had problems with bathroom queue.
Great Hostel, the staff is very friendly. It seems like a Student House, needs some fixes but is very cozy and cheerfull
Very nice hostel, right in the city centre. The owners are great and put a lot of effort to make your stay the best as possible. Some fresh cake and some fruits in the afternoon makes you feel like home. The building is an very old house (300 years), very appropriate in a city like Guimarães.
This hostel is one of the best I ever stayed. Very new, clean and the staff is the best. They make everything for you. The facilities are great. The only thing is the location, very near from a hub metro but you need to walk a bit to get to city centre and the bars area. Not a negative point, just a comment.
