Great hostel! There was good wifi, free computers, laundry, and best of all FREE WATER MACHINES. I could fill up my water bottle with cold or hot water...amazing. There was also a garden to hang out in, and the place was really clean. The free walking tour was really boring but a good way to meet people. The free breakfast was probably the best I've had in a hostel.
It was a nice enough hotel, but there was only 1 free hour of wifi per device per day which sucked. The bathrooms were nice. We had 2 private rooms, and one of them had flies everywhere. The location was decent - about a 10 minute walk from the train station (Mestre).
Great hostel for the price. I was entertained by how "hostel-y" this place was - people were staying there for multiple weeks, cooked dinners together, sat at the dinner table and chatted/played guitar and stuff. It was pretty charming. Rethymno itself is a bit far from Heraklion (about 1.5 hour bus ride), but the hostel was near a lot of restaurants and shops, which was nice. Alexander is one of the nicest guys I've met and he'll definitely take care of you!
This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at! Katerina, Stelios, and the rest of the family are the nicest people I've ever met and they are super helpful. Each room has its own balcony and the view was beautiful. Super clean rooms that were cleaned everyday. WIfi kinda sucked unless you went down to the pool.
Great hotel! It was very clean and equipped with a flat screen TV even! The location was a bit far, but it was right across from a tram stop which was nice.
This is definitely a good party hostel, and I really enjoyed seeing all these young people who go out, but the place was soooo dirty. The bathrooms had bugs crawling and flying all over, which was disgusting, and the showers and toilets weren't that great. The towels also cost 6 euro which is pretty ridiculous.
Very nice/quiet hostel with a kitchen. Adam was very very nice but his directions were a bit off...
