Very expensive hostel located in the red light district. The woman in the reception seemed very angry all the time and used the fewest words possible, nothing like "welcome, goodbye, thanks for your stay". She just seemed like she couldnt be bothered. The roomes were big, but after our last night there had been a mouse eating from our snacks we had bought for our train ride back to Denmark. No kitchen or real common room so there isnt really an atmosphere. Good location though
A very nice hostel really close to the train station. I stayed for only one night but i had great fun in the bar, that is quite cheap. You can easily walk to the cetrum or get a tram. It is a big hostel so you dont really get that family atmosphere as you do in some hostels, but the atmosphere in the bar is great though.
Pretty standard hostel. The air condition is some old thing that doesnt really cool, so dont believe in the air condition thing. They have a very nice and cheap bar/restaurent and the hostel is close to a tram station. The staff was very friendly and nice, especially Mia, who were always smiling.
Very nice and friendly hostel. It is very small and the staff is so friendly that it feels like you are a small family. Everyday they plan something for the day and also for the night. There is a lot of aussies so be prepared to speak a lot of english. In the night they go partying with 4 other hostels in budapest. Very nice hostel, altough it is a bit expensive. Ps. no blueballing in the hostel!
In overall a pretty good hostel with a good atmosphere. They have a nice kindoff garden where you can chill out and they grill everynight. They also have a big common room and a bar. Only bad thing is that the rooms are really hot, and really loud, since you can hear everything thats going on in the hall and also the window goes out to the street.
A very nice hostel. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good. The common room is basicly a bar where everyone is drinking beer the whole day and especially in the night before going out. It is very relaxed and people were even smoking weed in the common room. Location was good and a very nice pizza place 50 m away. Good for going out and meeting other people.
Pretty standard hostel. The common room is so big that it takes some of the atmosphere. Could be a bit closer to the metro. We slept with a family that was a bit weird. Very warm in the room since there isnt any ac
Fine Hostel, fine location. Bunk beds REALLY hard madress like sleeping on the wood! Food is expensive, the bar is nice and a lot of people in the night! Bathroom nice aswell.
Very nice hostel. Really good location on Hong Kong island and really close to the metro. I stayed in a 3 dorm bedroom, the madress were a little hard, but otherwise it was okay. The bathroom was good with hot water and there was a personal locker to your stuff. There is a nice common room ideal to meet any backpackers. The staff was friendly and gave usefull information
I did not like this Hostel. I checked in and they sent me to a dorm in the other end of the buildning. No common room or anything like that, if i wanted to read my guidebook or something i had to do it in my bed in the tiny room. Location is good right next to the metro, but not on the actual hong kong island. Chung Kin manison is one big indian ghetto, not the most charming place. I felt it was a bad place to meet other backpackers, except for the people in the room (if any)
