Conor, the guy on reception, was really helpful and friendly. As a budget option in central Dublin this place isn't bad but it isn't very clean, there isn't a lot of communal space for relaxing, a lift would be helpful for people with luggage and luggage racks under the bunk beds would give peace of mind when you go out and leave your luggage in the dorm room.

Not the best hostel in Galway. I stayed in the room with 12 beds. There was really not enough space for 12 people and their luggage. Also the ensuite shower/toilet room had no air conditioning and was smelly. The staff don't seem particuarly enthusiastic or eager to help. The breakfast included is very basic. I think this place is overpriced but okay if nowhere else is available

The hostel is basic but has all the facilities you need and is good value for money. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and clean. The breakfast was adequate. The kitchen could be better stocked.

I have stayed at the Four Courts Hostel a few times. I think it's the best value hostel I've found in central Dublin. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and the price includes breakfast, international phone calls, wifi, luggage storage and dvd rental. My only complaint is that the bathrooms/showers aren't cleaned often enough.

I have stayed at Kinlay House Hostel a few times and never regretted my choice. The hostel is clean, safe, spacious and very central in Galway. You have all the facilities you need in a hostel and all the staff I've encountered have been very friendly, chatty and helpful. In my opinion this is the best hostel in Galway.

This is the best budget accommodation I could find in Genova. The hostel is very central, clean, safe and has all the facilties you need - luggage lockers, hot showers, wifi, internet terminal, breakfast, books, board games......**The hostel closes between 1100 and 130 for cleaning each day**

I liked this hostel. Even though I visited at a quiet time of year, I found the place had a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and the facilities were clean and comfortable. A good budget option for people visiting Malaga.

I wanted to like this hostel more than I did. It is a short walk/bus ride from central Malaga. There are a few outdoor spaces to eat, drink and relax. The few staff members I encountered were reasonably helpful but not particularly friendly. I think the staff here think the place is better than it is. The dormitories don't have individual secure locks or swipe card access, the individual lockers are too small, the internet terminals are slow and generally the place isn't clean enough

I have stayed here twice and I hope to return. The hostel is very close to Plaza del Sol. Despite being so central the hostel is quiet enough for a good nights sleep. There are a few dormitories, a kitchenette and a small reception área. The breakfast is small but adequate. The staff are unfailingly welcoming and helpful but don't have much English. In addition to swipe cards for the rooms you will have your own locker to keep your luggage secure. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean.

This hostel is within walking distance of most tourist attractions in Dublin. The dorm room I was in was spacious, clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. You are given a key card for the dorm room and a security pass for the hostel. The price includes free breakfast, free internet access and apparently free international 'phonecalls. The staff were helpful. If the hostel was cleaner, in the dorms and shared spaces, it would be five star.

This was a late booking as I tried another hostel in Galway and couldn't sleep. Kinlay House hostel in Galway is excellent value for money, has all the facilities groups/single travellers need and the staff are lovely. Some of the dorm rooms seem a little overcrowded and an additional helpful feature could be lockable drawers under the beds in shared rooms for backpacks. Other than that I can't really complain.

Thank you so much for your feedback and for taking the time to leave a review - It really is greatly appreciated. To be honest, another guest did also make this suggestion to me before, so I am delighted to say that I have brand new modern security cages being installed under each bed as of 10AM tomorrow morning! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip and made loads of new friends along the way!! We hope to see you again soon! Kind regards, Frank O'Connell General Manager

Bru Bar & Hostel, Cork, Ireland
7.1
18th May 2012

Bru Bar and Hostel is in a central location in Cork. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. As it is by a busy road and above a bar it is not the quietest place especially at weekends. Some of the dorms are a little overcrowded and security is not brilliant. The dorm prices are a little above average but unlike some places most rooms have a clean en-suite toilet and shower. The 'breakfast' is toast and cereal. The perks are 1)central location 2)friendly bar 3)free internet access
