Very far away from Busan station if you take the KTX (about 25 subway stops) but extremely close to Haeundae beach. Hostel is also pretty far from the nearest subway (~15 min walk). Staff seemed pretty unhelpful (i asked for suggestions on other activities besides the beach and he refused to suggest any citing reasons that 'you are only here for just one night, you can't do anything else'). Decent breakfast and lovely rooms with bedside bulbs, spacious beds, lockers and personal bed wall sockets
Good location due to proximity to a mega-subway interchange (4 lines I think). Clean toilets, water provided and plenty of convenience stores and Lotte supermart just outside the hostel. However ALL upper beds on the bunk beds are TOO CLOSE to the ceiling light which makes it insanely difficult to sleep. Upper bunk beds also have no access to bedside power sockets so charging devices is a problem (you'd have to be using the sockets on the ground). Individual lockers provided in the room too.
great facilities: library, bar on the first floor, kitchen, computers etc. very near asakusa Kaminarimon gate, nakamise shopping street and sensoji temple. very near asakusa toei station but no one really does use the toei line anyway. asakusa-bashi (JR line) is about a 15min walk away. quiet district until you see the temple. ruins & rustic feel. toilets very clean and sunkus (convenience shop) just 50m from the hostel. wifi available and luggage storage very well manned.
very near the peace memorial park (walking distance) but 20min tram from the main station (but there's nothing there anyway). clean toilets, clean showers, very spacious rooms, great for a japanese tatami mat sleeping experience
lockers provided for everyone, free ipad rental, 4 computer terminals, privacy curtains for beds, very comfortable beds, very clean and huge showers. toilets are mixed-gender but it wasn't a problem. family mart (convenience shop) right besided it. shopping arcade 100m from hostel and saizeriya (cheap italian and jap food). only gripe is that the bus system is confusing and we have to take the bus to everywhere.
semi-double room was too small for my liking and there was no space at all (the width of one person) from bed to door so the luggage had to be stored under the bed or placed ON the bed. stayed in private twin bunk beds on the subsequent nights which were so so so much better. clean toilets, clean showers, value for money. directions from shin-nakano could also be given to avoid being caught in the maze.7-11 right opposite the hostel so breakfast wasn't a problem :)
very near the main train station and good cheap buffets! shower rooms in each same-gender room so it was convenient
very near the main train station and good cheap buffets! shower rooms were very clean
great dinners provided. wifi strength was also very good. mosquitoes were in the room so it's advisable not to open the windows. had an inconsiderate italian girl living in our room who took my bags and used it for herself without my permission and came back at 2am and switching all the lights on. also she woke up at 9am and started shouting at her friend on the phone. location was average, had to take a bus to the city centre but that's all because florence is walk-able
stayed in santa croce 555 (was lucky they had rooms there that day). should create wifi. rooms felt like they were hotel rooms and for 18euros, getting a bed by the window and the river just outside me was worth it! clean toilets and lockers provided in the room. reception could speak english and advise you on the main sights with a free map.
FREE BREAKFAST AND KOREAN DINNERS! which were super filling and cultivated a sense of family atmosphere. was really a great and comforting place to stay. wifi was good. was allowed to play with their pet dog too :) the cook is a really nice lady, when i left very early and had to skip breakfast, she shoved a hard-boiled egg into my hand and wished me a smooth trip :) location is far but directions are accurate and totally worth the stay
very clean toilets! scary atmosphere, was too noisy and people not living in the hostel could come in to the common room. free wifi was good, close to the main bus station and about 10 minute walk to tesco. far from the colleges though
it was quite empty when i was there, so despite having only two toilet bowls for females, there wasn't a queue. there is a shower room (separate gender) with 3 shower rooms inside but there were no doors, only shower curtains. beds were ok (they put the sheets on for you :D) but i'm not sure if it was bedbugs or the mosquitoes outside (rainy day) that caused me to itch a little. free wifi everywhere so that's good. and the 24h market beside it is good as well. no stove, only microwave
toilet consistently smelled of pee and weird roommates that were smokers/drunkards spouting nonsense. quite far away from the metro stations, about 5min walk. wifi had to be used in the bar next door (thank god it was non-smoking). the sink was UNBELIEVABLY SMALL so when people washed up or brushed their teeth, the floor would get wet. nobody washes up after meals too so the kitchen is a mess. opening and closing doors are noisy and loud and power sources in the room are at unreachable areas!!!
really nice hostel with ikea furniture! lockers a bit too small. toilets were ok though some need to have locks installed on the doors. there should be more power sources in the room. the have a stove to cook as well and some free food so that's good. not exactly very near the city centre but ok nonetheless. pillows are a bit too small and flat
