Well in El Chalten you have expect to pay over the odds and get nothing back in return its the same in all the hostels in El Chalten. The hostel is pretty poorly laid out so the commen areas are many but small making it hard to meet people. The facilities arent great by any means as the facilities include a tv and a book purchasing service not a book exchange like most hostels. The walls are also paper thin so at least you can hear people snoring in other rooms if no one is in yours.
The hostel was ok nothing more nothing less than expected. The best thing about the hostel is its location close to the bus station close to a big supermarket and with great views over looking the lake.
This is the best hostel i have stayed in in the 9 months that i have been in south america Gaston is great a real nice genuine guy who s more than happy to help with any thing you need or what to know. Great location just a block from the beach and minute walk from supermarkets, restaurants and any thing else you may what or need during your time here. Sorry but i honestly cant think of a bad thing about the hostel oh and the asado is good as well so if your in puerto madryn stay here!!!!!!!!!
fantastic hostel, great staff helpful friendly, great home made bread for breakfast and to top it of one of the best view i have ever seen.
À truely fantastic hostel great views and beautiful home made bread for breakfast. Thé staff are very helpfull and freindly. One of thé best hôtels i havé stayed in in my 8 months in South America.
Staff were very friendly and helpful providing lots of information about the area and what to see and do. The cheap meals each night are well worth doing just don't expect world class meals but they are very good value for money. All room (toilets, kitchen, communal area and bedrooms) were all clean and bright. Would defiantly recommend to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Salta. The free transfer from the bus station is also a fantastic benefit. Loved my stay here.
