A very basic hostel above a bar. The staff were friendly and the location good but there's not really much else to say about it . On the good side, no bunks but beds which is good cos it's horrible being stuck up on a top bunk. as facilities were minimal.

The location is excellent being only a stone's throw from South Yarra train station and close to shops, cafes, etc. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - choice of cereals, canned fruit, toast , coffee and is included in the price of the room. The downside and it was a big downside for me is that the windows in the rooms only open about 3 inches and there's no airconditioning so it was too hot to sleep. Probably great in winter but definitely not in hot weath

I have put poor for security because although everything else was good there were problems in the night. THe girls in the room next to us brought some French guys back and they were being extremely noisy, shouting and running up and down the corridor from 4 am until around 6 am. Despite my getting up and telling them to be quiet (they were too drunk or drugged to care) it went on and on. Next morning everyone was complaining about their behavior but the girl at reception didn't seem intereste

Extremely noisy being on the main Borough High Street, with police and ambulance sirens all night long and noise and visits by police from the pub across the road. Close to Borough Market and London Bridge tube. No cooking facilities so the girls I shared with were cooking in the room and leaving dirty dishes and food lying around which was unpleasant. Showers very basic and not very clean. The sanitary units in the loos were overflowing for the entire 4 days. Bedding poor.

HI there We are sorry you had such a bad stay with us, Borough High Street is a very busy road being so close to London Bridge, which is why we have new double glazing, along with providing free ear plugs at Reception. We are unsure of how the girls were able to cook in the room, as we deliberatley do not have any cooiking facilities for safety reasons. Many Thanks for taking the time to leave a review St Chris Team
