Funny Palace Hostel

Rome, Italy

Very friendly staff. We got a map of the city and highlighted routes for sightseeing and a free bottle of wine for choosing to stay there. Our private room felt more like a hotel than a hostel- equipped with mini fridge and small flat screen tv. 3 minutes from the train station. 25 minute walk to the Roman Forum, Colosseum, and Paletine Hill. You have to check in at the internet station/laundromat so don't freak out if it doesn't look like a hostel just yet. Overall, good stay.

Academy Hostel

Florence, Italy

Perfect stay for Florence. Right in between the Duomo and the Museo Academia which houses David. Great breakfast spread and free pasta salad and wine every evening. Not many plugs in the room but overall a good stay!

Ostello Tramonti

Cinque Terre, Italy

Cute little mountain town with the BEST pizza I have ever eaten. They offer a shuttle to take you to Riomaggiore for free if you stay there for 3 nights and I think it's 2 Euro otherwise. Well lit and clean. Our locks didn't fit in the locker, but we stayed with honorable people.

Hostel Belle Meuniere

Nice, France

We were told that we did not qualify for free breakfast because we booked online, so be careful about that. The staff were sometimes not at the reception counter. No wifi in the rooms. They do not have lockers, but they do offer to keep your valuables in a bag behind the counter if you feel unsafe. Every bathroom spelled strongly of public toilet as well. Located right by the train station which was convenient and a 15 min. walk to the very rocky beach.

The breakfast is free for direct customers, regulars or people who walk-in. We have lockers and we never keep valuables at the desk. We have secure storage for laptops or cameras, we have another safe for documents, and we have individual safe deposit boxes where you get your own key. Some individual devices do not have the strength to get the signal but wifi is covering the whole premises. Public bathrooms are cleaned twice a day, and they are regularly checked. For beach see council ;)

Sant Jordi Sagrada Familia

Barcelona, Spain

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. Amazingly friendly staff that organize a bunch of neat events nightly. The lounge is amazing and has such a cool vibe. It was a 10 min. walk to the Sagrada Familia. Very neat and spacious rooms and each locker can only be opened by your key card. Free internet and a table of computers we could use. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if skateboarding is your scene. Check them out!

The hostel is in an alley that I thought was pretty sketchy. The pictures on the website make everything look a lot more spacious than it actually is. Our room was incredibly dark and didn't give off the cleanest of vibes. Tiny showers. The front desk didn't ask for any sort of ID when you asked them for your room key and you don't need a key to get into the hostel, so really anyone could have asked for the key to any room. We were a little weary because of the lack of security.

Hi Adrianna, we always ask the security pass, when we do not is because we haveve already got familiar with the customers and our staff is here 24hours, no one from outside is allowed to enter. For the building is in a tiny street of the historical center, 2 minutes walking from Plaza de la Reina, but as it\'s historical is in an \"old fashioned\" street. The rooms have different size, some bigger than others but a part this I hope you had a good stay with us and you\'ll coem back. Marco

U Hostels

Madrid, Spain

The bedrooms are not air conditioned and when we were there the temperature was in the 90s. The staff was great and it was a very friendly atmosphere.

YHA London Oxford Street

London, England

Front desk was very helpful. They booked our early morning taxi for us the night before we had to leave.

Kinlay Eyre Square Hostel

Galway, Ireland

Great breakfast spread and a large and comfortable lounge area. The staff was immensely helpful and friendly. The only downsides were no Wifi in the rooms and the shower was on the same level as the rest of the bathroom floor so things tended to get a little wet. This is the best hostel we┬┤ve stayed at!
