Great place to stay if you're out and about visiting London all day and happy to eat out. Just a few rooms above a pub, so no lounge or kitchen, and pub doesn't serve food. Not a party atmostpere, just your average local. Good for families or quieter travellers. But very clean, first comfortable hostel bed i've had, great shower, staff were great. Close walk to London bridge, borough market and round the corner from the tube. Very cheap.

Well laid out. Clean. Quiet. Not overheated like a lot of other hostels. Mostly very friendly, helpful staff. Self catering kitchen is shocking, couldn't cook anything in there, no utensils, too small, 1 fridge? Shouldn't be advertised. Great having a bar, free breakfast makes life easy, restaurant food is alright too, not brill, basic pub grub, no veges. Not really a party atmosphere, not near other places of interest, great for families, students or people working. Night bus right outside.
