The location I initially booked is not the one I was sent to. This was not a problem as I was sent to the one at kosciusko st. The location is just around the corner from Bedford and norstrand subway station, making it easy to get just about anywhere provided you have a subway map. I gave the staff an average due to half the staff where good, the other half were a bit clicky and didn't seem to want to know anyone. Lastly the rooms in the house are good if a little small, the dorm out back mmmmm?

Hostel Cat has an amazing social environment, all you need to do is put yourself out there a little bit by going on the organised activities and the rest sorts itself out. The Monday night free show tour was awesome. I've never had so much fun on a Monday. The hostel may look a little run down, but that's just a first impression once settled in you will find that everything works how it should. I need to remind people this is a hostel not a hotel, you didn't pay much to stay there. Value!

India house looks a little dilapidated, but if that is a problem for you you should consider a hotel. It's cheap for a reason, if you want a cleaner nicer place you need to pay more for it. India house has an excellent setup for the seasoned or new backpacker.
