There was a problem with our booking which left us without accommodation. They rectified the situation by finding us another hostel and paying the difference. They also gave us vouchers for breakfast in the morning, and discount coupons for food at the pub. It was very much appreciated and they really went above and beyond. Though we did not stay there, I would recommend this hostel on the basis of their superb customer service.

Spent a good deal of time in Bath and found the hostel to meet expectations. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Free b-fast and wifi were a plus. Clean and safe, predictable accommodation
It's a corporate, prepackaged organization with an emphasis on profit. In my opinion it's not really a hostel. Everything cost something, wi-fi, breakfast... Common rooms were lack luster and interaction seemed to occur only in the kitchen. The hostel layout was difficult to navigate with overzealous security measures. No issues with staff other than feeling I was interrupting their socializing when needing to ask a question, cleanliness was also a non-issu. Just really disliked the experience
Beautiful bunkhouse/pub. The location was stunning and the owners were lovely. Only advice to other travelers would be to buy food before arriving, as there are no markets in Penmachno. Would definitely return
Liked the history of the house, but found staying there to be awkward. The common room was not conducive to interacting and was hot, internet was spotty, kitchen was quite small. Rooms on the top floor were stuffy and warm with little ventilation and bathrooms were akin to those found on airplanes. Didn't have a bad time there, just felt the layout and the overall vibe lacked
Loved this place. The staff were super knowledgeable and friendly, the kitchen w was well equipped, and the common room was comfy and cozy; easy to interact with other travelers. Only complaint were that the mattresses were a little uncomfortable - springs. Other than that it was a sweet spot. I even returned after traveling through northern Scotland on my way back to England.
I had a hard time finding it, but that made it all the more worth while for me. I enjoyed myself, the insightfullness and quirkiness of the staff, and the overall vibe of the hostel. I felt quite at home there and found it easy to get around and see Seville. The rooftop terrace was great for starting off the morning as it was for sharing stories and drinks at night. There was a great variety of people. Sometimes it could be loud with folks coming back from the bar, but I would come back again.
