Encore Express Hotel/Hostel

San Francisco, USA

This place isn't anything fancy, but it served it's purpose as a place to sleep. The only complaint I have is that our keys didn't work to get into our room but luckily other people also stayed in our room and were able to open the room door. In fact everyone who was staying the room had their keys not work.

Amsterdam Hostel

San Francisco, USA

The Amsterdam Hostel was good, pretty close to public transportation. The issues that I found disturbing were more with a loud (and rude) person we shared the dorm room with, other then that the hostel served it's purpose. If your looking for just a place to sleep, this is totally your place.

Inner Amsterdam

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Black mold on the wall behind the curtains in the room we stayed in! Windows only opened slightly leading to hot, stuffy rooms, despite cool outside temporature. Private rooms are as small as possible, lack adequate ventilation, and lack noise dampening insulation. Very basic, unclean hostel that everyone books when they can't find space at other hostels in Amsterdam. No lockers for your backpack, only small valuables. Other hostels stayed at on trip had lockers that fit backpacking backpacks.
