Very clean and professional. More like a hotel with dorm rooms so you get better cleanliness than a normal hostel. Hammer smith is a great safe area. Only downer is paying for wifi. Also is you are looking to meet lots of people and to socialise this isn't the place for you, mainly due to its hotel feel.
Small rooms (Paris for you, I guess). Wifi slow. location ok but quite far from the main attractions but lots of food and entertainment in the area. It is the red light area but as with most big commercial red light areas in Europe it isn't dodgy at all.
Crazy showers where you have to either push a button the whole time or pull a chain the whole time. Most bizarre set-up I have seen in a year of travel. Wifi slow, location quite far from the train station.
This place was first class! Much better than another hostel we, unfortunately, stayed at in Brugge also.
Tongue in check sense of humour made a good change from the norm. Be aware this is a BIG hostel and as such has massive tour groups coming through and going everywhere. Major downer was the price, really. Amsterdam on the weekend = crazy prices.
This is definitely a party hostel. smoking room and bar and, as such, no real common area to chillout in after a tiring day. TINY toilets and bizarrely no sinks to brush your teeth or shave. Instead you have to use the miniature ones in the toilets. Location is about as far from the main area as you'd want to get. The other flying pig is probably worth booking instead, simply based on its better location.
Overall great, only issue was slow Internet but that seems to be the norm in half of Europe!
Slow Internet, not great location, otherwise enjoyed it.
Really great. Oly had the one night but was thoroughly pleased!
Great place. Good location.
No frills but has a very nice, large common area next to the kitchen. The area is great, close enough to be a ten minute walk to anything of interest but just far enough out of the way not to be stuck in a tourist trap area.
Very good location and value for money. Also the staff are great, especially Francesco who we had several great conversations with and he is very knowledgable on things to do and see in Rome.
Obviously the location isn't great but it's either bite the bullet and pay the horrendous Venice prices and stay here and deal within. The public bus was super easy and cheap to use. The pool is excellent and due to high backpacker numbers the atmosphere is there for the taking. Only other downside was no kitchen which is really bizarre for a camp ground, at least in my country.
No kitchen is a big issue when you have food allergies. Also the wifi was dodgy to say the least. If you want to party and drink all night this is your hostel.
Great place to stay. No problems. Only a short walk to the middle of the action.
Overall a great price for a private room and plenty of food and drink options in the area. 20minute walk down the main shopping street and you are in the centre of town.
Good location up the hill away from the busy tourist centre though close enough to walk everywhere.

This place was great, one of the best hostels we have stayed in. Clean, friendly and great kitchen facilities. Also whilst not being in the old city centre (only a 15min walk away) it is probably (at least for younger people) is in a much cooler area Neustadt which has many bars, shops cafes etc etc and has much more life and is far less touristy than the centre.
Perfect location in a great city.
A great, clean and safe area. An easy ride on the tube into the city centre. The only major gripe is the lack of a kitchen and common room. Tough there is the bar downstairs if you are looking for somewhere quiet to go and hang out it doesn't really provide that.
The smallest dorm rooms we've had in all of Asia and Europe. Where there are 6 bunks in any other hostel we have been to would have 4. Also seems to be a lot of people living there coming and going at all hours of the night, with no regard to travellers asleep etc. The common room is also quite small,, considering the ammount of people at the hostel.
Large room and clean throughout. It's is a bus ride out of the city and not ideal for travellers however if you have a car like we did it is perfect budget option.
Value for money was excellent, staff were friendly, the included breakfast was far and beyond any other included breakfast. The bus stop out the front makes getting into town super easy and quick. Rooms are very large as are the common rooms and the outdoor area and overall it has a great vibe.
Great place and super price. Location is excellent, only a 2 minute walk to the centre of the action! Staff were great also. Only gripe was the showers. It's cool that they want to save water and everything by using timed push buttons, but seriously they last for about 10 seconds! Annoying as all hell, having to push the button so many times to have a decent shower.
Our beds were in the loft of the room, meaning we couldn't stand up and had to bend over once we climbed the ladder. Also the sheet price should be included in the bed price.
Loved it! Great place, great price, great location!
Great place, great price! Just watch out for dodgy taxis because for some reason our taxi to the airport was twice as much as it should have been! Not sure why or what's going on.
Good, cheap, good location. Nothing fancy but for the price you can't complain!

Great facilities, perfect room in a shared apartment style setup! Could not ask for anything more for the price.
Great price, great breakfast, highly recommended.
Love sunshine bedz! It is the best.
Love this place. Stay in little India. It is much nicer than Chinatown and a far better location to walk around the city from.
Great vibe, great location, run by the coolest guy ever! Beautiful little town!
You get what you pay for. Definitely a place for the younger party crowd to crash after a big night on the street.
A weird frosted glass panel meant the room wasn't exactly a private.
Great place and location.
One of the best hostels we have stayed at! Superb quality, friendly staff.
We had a great time in Tainan and the host lady is very knowledgable on what to do and where to go in the area! Clean, friendly and recommended.
This place is great! A 30 second walk from the beach, 5 minute bike to 7-11 and a 10 minute scooter or taxi to the small town this place is the perfect way to relax and unwind after tackling the cities of the mainland. A very beautiful bay and beach and Damon makes sure your stay is an enjoyable one, not merely a hostel worker rather he chats, advises and generally is part of the culture at this wonderful backpackers! Definitely our favourite hostel we have found in Taiwan!
Great location next to the market, very friendly people.
Great location, the counter girl was lovely and gave very helpful advice. Overall the hostel was great!
Very clean, excellent sitting area and friendly staff. It is located in the best area, central to veering right next to e MRT. We are going back ere at e end of our loop of the country!
Everything about this place is great! Close to two mrt stations, tekka food market and hundreds more food joints in little India, short walk to Kampong Glam and also a short walk to great markets and shopping in Bugis. The hostel has people from all over the world and you can always find someone to talk to!
