Low profile hostel in a good location. Pretty messy and cleaning was not on top. Loose and friendly staff. Hot showers though!

The hostel is fine. A large old building, very well located. But as said before, kitchen fails. Bar area is kind of faded, not much happening there. It is very difficult to find a convenient power plug. There was one plug for 8 people dorm. Internet is not very stable. Staff is friendly but they have no idea about many things, because they're all temporarily volunteers. Skip the breakfast options and go around for nice breakfast. Not so many places to seat. Pillows are as large as a wallet.NOISY!

That's a great hostel competitor in that area. Absolutely good value for money. They seem to be an up-starting hostel, they're investing a lot in new facilities and conviniences. Staff William is a good buddy, very attentive, warm and helpful. Letitia, the Argentinian girl is just the opposite to that (WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE? PLEASE GO FIND ANOTHER JOB!) Cleanliness was not great unffortunately, at least in the dorm and in the dramatic(!!!) shower/toilet. Very noisy. Great location.

That's a basic hostel with a nice backpacker's vibe. Very simple but nice staff, decent wifi, poor breakfast (but ok, you can get unlimited fruits), simple kitchen. Good location, hidden in the Casco Viejo district.

Great location, great facilities, great breakfast, indifferent staff but it is ok, you're in PARIS. Bathrooms could be cleaned more often. A place to party, if you're not into it....go somewhere else, it is pretty noise.

Massive, busy and popular hostel in a convinient location.NO WIFI in the rooms but poor wifi in the happening cafe downstairs.Very pricy for its features.U will be charged for pretty much anything else then ur bed.Comfy beds, lockers, messy WCs but a great place to meet ppl and party eventually.Staff was the worst I ever met(the girl), rude, unfriendly and intimidating.Other than that it is a good place to stay though I wouldn't stay there again. Cafe foods are way too pricy for a hostel.Safe.

Huge hostel with everything u need except decent wifi in your room. The lively common area disposes of better net and horrible music but no food. Not the cleanest but welcome to China.Great staff and price. A bit off of the city but OK... next time Id stay more central.Shanghai is big and u will waste a lot of time on metro.

Fine but I wouldn't stay there again...Imissed some hospitality. The host was very indiferent. Maybe because he didn't so much English, not sure...

This is a very unusual hotel. It has it own system which is pretty bizarre...but it's worth the experience. They have a lot of rules and the staff is pretty strict if not rude. Not so much command of English. Despite all, it has a very common bath with hot spring pools and a sauna, a comics room, and the most depressive common area (RELAXATION ROOM) ever with wif spot, TVs, reclinable chairs and games. It is not necessarily but interesting. It is a great location surrounded by shops, pubs.

Do something with the toilets. The Japanese ones seem to be unused as the majority of the guests are foreigns. Keep it clean. The walls look bad for those who are just arriving in Japan via Tokyo. That's not a nice postal card for Japan. Staff are helpful but way too strict with guests. They should loose it up a bit. Find a way to cope with Luggage storage after 10h00.
