The staff are welcoming and very helpful. The hostel is close to the centre but like any location in Ouro Preto, is a steep walk back.
The staff are very helpful and made every effort to assist me with my limited Portuguese. Breakfast is amazing and the buffet dinner selection and price cannot be beaten. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
All the staff are friendly and very helpful with assistance about things around town to visiting the falls. The property is well maintained and clean, there is a good selection for breakfast. There is a very welcoming vibe about this hostel.
Karma was very helpful and organised tours for me that offered an English speaking guide while the tour agents down town were not prepared to.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Heldren recommended great eating locations and readily offered assistance. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was substantial. An issue with the lack of hot water was quickly addressed. Having stayed in other accommodation in Santiago on previous visits Casa Mosaico is well worth trying. Thank you to the staff.
Unfortunately this hostel is only a shadow of its advertised facilities. While breakfast was Ok, there is NO swimming pool, no restaurant, no bar, limited hours to use the kitchen and a charge to use it, a poor excuse for a common room. and the "tour desk" provided limited info for ONE option with a local 'guide' who while being a nice guy, has limited knowledge of the area. The 50R/- charged for transport to the airport is a blatant scam. Organise your own taxi.
Convenient location to supermarket and a variety of good restaurant options. A medium walk to the old centro area and beach. Owner speaks English and is very helpful. Breakfast is also very good.
Lucia speaks english and is very helpful. The staff are friendly. Location is the best if you want to be in the historic centre and a good range of eating optionss are close. .
Helpful with secure taxi to airport at a good price, friendly and tolerant of my poor Spanish.
Both Katoo and Caleb are great guys and willing to assist in ensuring you see the real Iquitos.
I would like recommend Caravella, having stayed on three different occasions recently and having a private room, the cost was great for my budget, the location fantastic, and the staff went out of their way to ensure all my questions were answered and needs meetl. Well done
Sylvia's hospitality is amazing she helped in very way to make me welcome. Breakfast is great, rooms clean, beds confortable and lovely hot water in the bathrooms. Can recommend without question.
Luis and his fmily are fntastic. Blanca cooks a great breakfast and Lucia does airport and bus pickup and drop happily. They both were extremely helful with informaton on safety and recommemded places to eat. You must there here if in San Pedro.
I found the lodge conmfortable and convenient to transport and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The ladies shower upstairs had poor drainage and the floor became very wet and slippery using the shower over the bath was the better option. The plumbing associated with the basin in the room was very noisy.
No reposnse to a call re advertised pick up from bus, and nothing done re a cold tap in the shower that did not work. In three days room was not cleaned nor bin emptied.four nights
Modern, pleasantly cool and user friendly accomodation. Close to beach, bars, restaurants and bus into town. Top marks from me.
Great facilities and location, friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely stay again next time I am in london
Congratulations on a great hostel, from the welcome by Asume, to the homely living room and comfy beds everything was great. Will certainly recommend Totters
Central location is excellent, breakfast is very good,
Friendly, helpful staff, clean and great all day toast and coffee. A mirror in the room and/or a power point in the bathroom would be great
While the rooms do not have windows and open onto a common area, it is a very pleasant and welcoming hostel. The staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is simple but fresh and filling. The price is very reasonable and its location is walking distance to centro and Plaza Brazil.
Welcoming and helpful would stay again if when Buenos Aires
Masion Marve is closed down.
This hotel was CLOSED leaving me stranded ans without accommodation or any ideas of where to go to find a hotel in a unfamilia city. Is there some way of you knowing when hotels that are advertised on HostelWorld close down. And how do i go about getting a refund on the deposit i paid? Thank you Frances Grant
The hostel did not accept that the deposit i paid when booking through hostel world was to come off my total account ...so yet again i had to pay the full amount.....(the same happened at New Orleans and San Antonio) meaning that my accommodation bills have been more that i had budgeted for, please email me at email@example.com and explain what is meant when a booking is confirmed a fee of $2 plus 10% of the booking is deducted from my credit card.....where is the 10% deposit going....to hostel world or the hostel. I am very disappointed with the process and unless it is explained and an atttempt to rectify the situation is made i will not be using hostelworld to make any more reservations. Thank you.
Like my experience at New Orleans IH, this hostel initially did not want to recognise that i had paid a deposit when i booked with hostelworld. However i insisted and was eventuallly given the credit. The managment need to understand that they must recognise conditions of the service just as we, the customers have to.
This hostel would not recognise that i had already paid a deposit through my booking online with hostel world, and i had to pay the full amount. Hostels who take advantage of using your booking arrangements must accept the conditions, just as we, the customers, have to accept the booking conditons.
