Good hostel, nice kitchen, good location, friendly staff. No power outlets in the rooms, beds are small and you can feel a little boxed in (corner bed with lockers at the foot of the bed and next to my head), not enough showers.

Thanks for your feedback - if the bathroom room is busy we do have additional bathrooms on each corridor. There are power outlets in rooms but some are " hidden behind the sinks " so apologies if you did not locate.

Good location. Well priced. Helpful staff. Good facilities with the exception of the bathrooms. Showers have no temperature controls and shut off every 20 seconds. Not enough showers for a hostel this size.

Thanks for your really great feedback. Our showers are timed to help conserve water and in a hostel enviroment (where showers rooms are shared) to encourage our guests to be considerate of each other in tems of the length of time taken. We do have additional showers on other floors of your area was under pressure and our sincere aplogies if you had any delays. We will keep a close eye during our busy season to see if we need to improve further

INBOX Hostel by FWD

Chiang Mai, Thailand
100%

I've been travelling and staying in hostels for the last 9 months. The owners of FWD have been the most helpful and hospitable people that I've stayed with so far. This isn't a party hostel, just a nice relaxing place to stay within walking distance of many of Chiang Mai's top attractions. Highly recommended.

Nomads Melbourne

Disgusting. The carpets were filthy, the bedding was rarely changed and always smelt sweaty. I washed my own sheets but still couldn't get them clean. The kitchen is tiny. It would be too small for a hostel 1/4 the size of this one. The "cleaners" would leave rooms unlocked and open and then disappear. There are much nicer places to stay in Melbourne (try Urban Central).

Its great you enjoyed the free wifi. The bathrooms were undergoing renovations for one day to replace all fittings and are now better than ever. There were some more showers on the ground floor which were free to be used. Apologies for the confusion. Happy travels! Pete

Busy central hostel with helpful but stressed out staff. Bathrooms weren't as clean as I would've hoped. This hostel tends to attract party goers so I suppose that's to be expected. Lots of PCs available for use with webcams and headsets but no free internet/wifi.

Thank you for your review about our hostel. It is a busy hostel and I am glad that although the staff were busy they were still helpful. During the busy periods we have increased the cleaning periods in the bathrooms and we are looking at renovating some of the bathrooms this year. Safe travels.

Kayun Hostel

Close enough to the town centre and beach that you can walk to most places but far enough away from the busy main street that you can have some peace and quiet. Free wifi in the lobby plus free access to two PCs and free printing is handy. Air conditioned private rooms with safe and mini-fride. All in all pretty good but a bit on thr expensive side by Bali standarda. No hot water while I was there (5 days) due to solar powered water heater.
