New Cross Inn Hostel

London, England

probably the best hostel we stayed in while we in the uk

The Lodge at Crystal Palace

London, England

not close to central london but accessable by train.ideal for our purposes as we wanted a couple of quiet days before we left the uk.if it had a self catering kitchen would have been brilliant

Blue Skies Hostel

London, England

Booked a 8bed dorm on the website, got put into a 12bed. Asked a member of staff about this and they said that there isnt any 8bed rooms. Internet didnt really work and if you were lucky enuff to connect it wood drop off alot. The 'kitchen/common room' was tiny and lacking alot of basic things. There wasnt even any cups. The showers were good but didnt drain vry well and out of three toilets one was blocked the entire seven days and one other had no working light.

Bunkhouse Plus

Weymouth, England

the place is thoroughly cleaned daily.really nice and relaxing place we were really comfortable during our stay.colin is a really nice guy and very helpful if you have any questions regarding buses the area or anything else that might come up and was happy for us to extend our stay.would recommend to anyone and would happily stay again

Torquay Backpackers Hostel

Torquay, England

Loved staying here. good rooms, kitchen/dining and lounge. Awesome out door area with a pool table. Such a nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Staff were awesome!! They even nailed a couple of bits of wood on to my top bunk when I asked so I wouldnt fall out and all with a smile. Great place to stay!!!

booked a double with ensuite on the website turned out to be just a double with a sink in the room with the communal bathroom downstairs. there was no lock on our door so had to take important things eg. passports etc with us everytime we went out. the whole place lacked atmosphere, the people were friendly which made our stay tolerable.

Bath Backpackers

Bath, England

one toilet per floor and two right down the bottom floor isnt ideal as they are always being gf had to wait constantly to use the showers(there are three male and 3 female)location is really good train station just down the road and you can easily walk round the town which is just round the corner

Cardiff, Wales

were able to store our bags there as we arrived before check in which was good.met all our requirements and not far from central of the cheaper stays to which is always good

YHA Conwy

Conwy, Wales

Safestay York

York, England

Not the cleanest. Toilets next to the kitchen did not look like they had been cleaned for the whole 3 days we were there. Toilet in our dorm was blocked alot of the time. On the last night of our stay we were unable to use the kitchen between 6:30 and 8:30pm due to a large group of kids. Tiny kitchen for the size of the hostel. Would not stay again and would not recommend.

Argyle Backpackers

Edinburgh, Scotland

Eastgate Backpackers Hostel

Inverness, Scotland

AVOID !!! This hostel has been the WORST we have stayed in since we arrived in the UK. Upon arrival, rung bell and 'manager' emerged from the room that he put us in? Strange? In a room with 3 long term rez, room was a pig-sty and was left unlocked with our stuff in it.Lockers didnt lock.Fridges dirty, our milk was stolen.Dirty dishes in lounge and outside. No swimming pool that it said it had on the ad.All and all an AWFUL place to stay.Dont unless your desperate!!!! ABSOLUTLY THE WORST BACKPACKERS!
