There's a few issues with this hostel to be fair. The staff that check you in are unfriendly and do not promote the activities at the hostel or provide any information about the facilities. Someone stole my key card and I couldn't get 5 euro refund BEWARE. I got told off one morning because one guest was upset I made too much noise when I returned back drunk. Get over it, it's a hostel, stay at a hostel if you want quiet. Limited area to chill. Rooftop terrace not part of hostel CAUTION

Very good hostel. Excellent for a quite stay in Edinburgh. Staff are exceptional. Nice common tv area and kitchens. Feels more like a home rather than a backpackers.

Excellent hostel, very clean. Location is perfect. Hostel activities were vey enjoyable. I did find however that there were many couples, families, etc staying at the hostel. For a solo traveller, meeting new people to drink with, etc, it was quite difficult.

This is a very good hostel. Clean, quiet, free internet. It is not a party hostel. Also a bit far from the main drag ie. rundle mall, a good 20 minute walk!

This is a nice hostel, small and welcoming. The common room is good for relaxing, surfing the net and chatting to others. This is not a party hostel but the papers scissors pub crawl in Wednesday night is fun.
