Staff are unhelpful and not friendly. "Free sangria" as advertised actually meant get a tiny glass for free and pay €10 for a bar crawl which we thought wasn't great. Otherwise location great and the bedrooms are realy clean.

Dear Fona, What was wrong with our staff? For each night that you stay in no name you get one free sangría ...whereelse did you get this in madrid? Of course sangria you can get free sanfria open bar + pubcrawl to kapital for 10 euros, i do not think that is really a bad deal... anyway thank for you reviews it help us to imporve our hostel.... regards xavi

Best hostel I've stayed in! The only problem is that it lacks a lot of people which meant we didn't meet as many new people. Location was fantastic though, we really enjoyed our stay!

Organised events in the evenings were really good, we made some great friends at the pasta night and the free champagne night! Our room wasn't very clean and our bathroom was filthy but we were out most of the time anyway as the beach is really close.

Security to get into the hostel is very good however the bedrooms don't have locks which felt a bit unsafe. The bar is really good and a great place to meet friends, however the bathrooms are the filthiest I've ever seen and I've stayed in a lot of hostels before!

Great hostel but not a lot of people around since Lausanne is an expensive place to travel!
