We stayed here twice during our visit to Turkey. It was a very easy decision to return to Cheers. Tarik is the best!! He made our stay one to never forget. He is very genuine, honest, helpful and hilarious! The 8 bed dorm is spacious, beds are comfortable, the terrace is really cool, the breakfast included is also delicious and the location is excellent, you are right in the centre and can walk everywhere. Nothing bad to say! Definitely recommend Cheers.
I think we were very unlucky with the people in our dorms, so unfortunately we didn't enjoy our stay at the hostel. The staff were nice and the free dinner was good! It is about a 25 minute walk to the old town or a short tram ride.
Due to the size of the hostel , it overall lacks atmosphere. So we decided to leave after one night. The facilities were good.
When we stayed at seven, the hostel was pretty empty. This is a large hostel so in shoulder season it lacked atmosphere. The bar area and amazing terrace were usually empty. The 8 bed dorm is big however I believe I got bed bugs. So our opinion is obviously influenced by this experience. Bathrooms were also far away. They are going for more of a hotel vibe than a hostel, with mixed results.
When we checked in we were told our room was having a toilet issue so they found a place for us to stay at another hostel. Not sure of the name because we were told very little.
We arrived at the hostel and rang the door bell and waited for about 5 minutes, there was no response. Luckily someone was leaving the building so we were able to enter. When we went up, the guy was sitting there playing dance music so loud and ignoring the bell . We booked an 8 or 10 bed dorm and in our room there were 3 single beds in each corner of the room. This is not a party hostel, just a guy playing loud music all the time. No vibe. Luckily we only booked 1 night and it was cheap.
Great hostel; super friendly and helpful staff, awesome nightly activities including free paella one night, good sized dorms and plenty of bathrooms. Totally recommend it!
Goldcoast is basic hostel, unfortunately our 4 bed dorm was located right next to the front door on street level. It was very noisy at night with people banging the door and street noise in general coming through our windows. So even though it wasn't a party hostel we didn't sleep the best. There are no nightly activities so it is really a bed to sleep in. In saying that our stay wasn't bad at all just not the best experience.
Great hostel, hot breakfast every day, friendly staff, good vibes, nightly activities, cheap laundry service, great Sintra tour (totally recommend doing that), good kitchen and wifi was available all over the hostel. Only con is the location, it is on the main shopping street of Lisbon so it is central but lacked character.
a little bit too expensive for a dorm room.

We really enjoyed our stay at RCH. It was definitely the best hostel we have ever stayed in. The staff were all lovely and helpful, our Tim Burton room was nice, bathrooms were clean and modern, common areas were great- particularly the terrace. The daily activities were good also, we could meet other guests in a fun but still chilled out environment. Location is good. Definitely recommend this hostel.
The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms are small but it was fine, wifi connection was not the best, it often dropped in and out. The house keeping was exceptional. Location is great, oberkampf is a really cute area.
We loved our stay here. The location, cleanliness and breakfast were faultless. Not to mention Silvia, the owner- she was so lovely, cool and helpful. When we first arrived she sat down with us and gave us the low down of Florence including not only the tourist highlights but also cool places we would have never come across. The breakfast was awesome, there was only 4 people staying there at the time and there was such a wide selection of foods and so much of it! the location was amazing too!
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Mimma. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom and we were very happy- it was cute, comfortable and the air con was great too. The garden was lovely for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was quite limited, but still fine and acceptable. Casa mimma was not too difficult to find with a map, it is easy to get lost but that is all part of it. We liked that casa mimma was a little way away from the main area in Venice, signage is great and easy to follow.
