I stayed in a private room in the upper floor, I only share the bathroom with other room. The room was big but there wasnt a chair & a table. The place could improve a lot with curtains, white sheets & if they finish the closet. The kitchen is very nice but there wasnt a fridge. I didnt know if there was a laundry or wifi, nobody told me. I didnt find a place to hang the wet clothes. The first day a receive the sheets, I had to make the bed myself. There are lot of s Cockroaches

Very friendly and helpfully staff. The water of the shower was very hot or very cold.

Most of the time there wasnt anybody in the recepcion. It is not nice to arrive in an empty hostel. The view from the balcony was awesome. The room with ensuite was nice and comfortable. The wifi is expensive and you have to pay for the towel. The bus stop is near.

Outside the motel has other name: Poinsettia. Drivers dont find the motel if you ask for Cairns City Motel. The rooms has microwave, fridge, fork, knife, spoon and plate which is very convenient. The bad side was that the water poored out from the tap and they didnt repair it. Besides the room was not cleaned after the first day.

The hostel is very nice but I think that blankets should be included. It costs 5 dollars each.
Thank you for staying with us and your review. Dingo Moon Lodge is the only hostel in Australia that provide free breakfast, laundry and wi-fi. Subsequently, I do not want to start loosing money. It actually costs us more than $5 to have the blankets laundered each time someone such as yourself requests one.
