Really nice facility with a pool, very clean, modern rooms with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The co-working space was really nice too since I was working remotely during my stay. Didn't take advantage of the on-site bar or the paddleboards for rent but it was cool that they were there. A good number of restaurants within walking distance. I didn't use this as a base for exploring Miami (did that from a friends house earlier in the week) so location-wise can't say much. Staff were great!

Nice hostel - I was just there for a night as a layover in LA. Does the job! Clean bed, cool rooms w AC, friendly staff. I chose this location because it was close to where a friend of mine lived, but it wasn't too far from a variety of restaurants, etc. I'd stay here again.

This is a great hostel, conveniently located a mere block from the Heavenly gondola and within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The common area has friendly vibes and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Great value for staying in the heart of South Tahoe!

Big hostel with lots of different rooms so you don't have to share bedroom space w too many people. Comfortable couches and pool table in the common area, and they provide free breakfast stuff which is clutch. Location is great - within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants in Hill Crest. Modern keycard type entry keeps it simple and secure to get in and out. Nice and helpful staff - would recommend!

Nice place in SLC to lay your head! The staff were very kind and generous. This hostel had a unique atmosphere as i was passing through - as it appeared most of the guests were staying for a while, and all really friendly people. But certainly something to keep in mind if you were hoping to meet fellow travelers. The place is big and spacious, with plenty of showers and bathrooms, etc. Bring your own towel and blanket if you can, since they charge extra for those. Also, Free Breakfast! :)

Great hostel, I only spent one night - it isn't huge, but the location is within walking distance to lots of great things in one of the best neighborhoods in CDMX. I would definitely recommend it.

Kame house is off the beaten track, located in Cerro Ancon instead of Casco Viejo or downtown. This means more wildlife around, but it also means you'll have to catch a taxi or walk a little bit to get there. The facilities are nice, but the big room can feel a little crowded... there's not much space for anything besides bunk beds. But it's got AC which can be nice, and a cool lounge area + a big kitchen. I recommend this spot for backpackers looking to stay somewhere a little closer to nature

Stayed here on a layover, so didn't stay long - but still was impressed. The security guard went out of his way to walk me to an ATM at night to keep me safe, and the check-in staff were friendly. The showers and bathrooms were clean, the dorms were well-setup with individual lockers and charging stations. The beds were some of the most comfortable I have slept in in many weeks of traveling. Felt like a fresh clean hotel bed! Plenty of hot water in the shower too. Recommended!

This was a great place to stay in Quito, located right in the heart of the Mariscal - where all the nightlife action happens and near a bus stop. The dorm was quiet at night and it was easy to go to sleep early if you wanted to. The free breakfast is a perk, although its not much more than bread jam and yogurt, its still something. They have a cool lounge area and reliable wifi, also plenty of outdoor seating on the patio. Hot water, comfy beds, working kitchen, good vibes. Recommended!

If I could give the staff a 6 out of 5, I would. Monika and Danny were some of the most amazing hosts I've ever had at a hostel, and they truly make their guests feel like they are staying in their home... not just an ordinary hostel. The location is a bit out of town, but that's a large part of the appeal and the walk is very easy. They have nice beds, showers with hot water and a well furnished kitchen. They also have a great deal for refilling water bottles. Loved this place! Recommended :)

This is a superb hostel, one of the best I have seen in many nights of traveling. The place is kept extremely clean, the beds are comfy, and the location right next to the main square is unbeatable. The breakfast in the morning is hearty, although it isnt very early. For only $8 a night, you can't beat it.Recommended!!

This is a good place for a party, but it is a bit far away from the center of town. This shouldn't matter too much though, since there isn't much in town and the hostel is advantageously right next to the beach. Hanging out at night with the other guests is the best part, and the night I stayed lots of people came from other hostels to hang there as well. Gold times. Showers are warm, breakfast is eggs and bread, not bad.

This was a fantastic hostel with good vibes and lots of young people to meet and hang out with. They had a bit of trouble with the water one morning, but that's due to the city, not the hostel. The kitchen is poor but there are loads of delicious cheap restaurants nearby. Good place to hang for fun and laid back times!

Unfortunately I cannot genuinely speak on the facilities or value of this hotel, as the staff decided to give away our reservation. A poor move, I was very fustrated upon arriving at 9 pm after many long hours in a cramped bus from Machu Picchu that made me feel sick to my stomach. Luckily my Spanish was decent enough to communicate the issue, and they arranged a stay at a hostel nearby.. Atawakama, but this hostel was not very nice either, leaving us disappointed in Oki Doki. Bookers beware!

This place is backpacker Heaven! After spending a few nights in Colca Canyon, this place came to the rescue with warm showers, comfortable, spacious rooms, and a prime location right in the center of clean, historic Arequipa. Tons of restaurants and fun bars around, and a hearty meal of pancakes of or eggs in the AM.. what more can a traveler ask for? Plus, the roof top terrace is a nice place to chill and meet other guests. Recommended!!

LOVED this place. A quaint, well-kept house on the edge of town, it was the perfect place to stay as a couple. The room was clean, mattress very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully furnished and spotless. There are 2 stoves and 2 sinks, so cooking with others is easy. The front porch is great for relaxing, and it's shrouded by greenery so it feels very private. If you want to be in the center of things with lots of other people, stay elsewhere. Otherwise, this place can't be beat!!

This is a fairly average hostel, but the staff make it a fantastic place to stay. Brad is extremely kind and will offer loads of helpful advice on everything you need to know about Bocas. The rooms are clean and AC is a huge perk. They have pleasant balconies and an outdoor chill space. Solid choice for staying in Bocas town.

Casa Areka is a gem! It's a lil tucked away, not exactly in the heart of things - but not far either and catching a cab right outside the door was never a problem. The 24 hour supermarket across the street was perfect, arguably better than being in Casco Viejo - especially for budget travelers. The private double room that we stayed in was superb, very clean and quiet, felt like a hotel but with the social vibe of a hostel! Best of both worlds. Breakfast is basic but solid. Pool area is sweet!

Really loved my stay here, so much that I ended up postponing leaving for 3 or 4 days - probably one of the longest times I've ever spent in a hostel. Great place to meet fun travelers, and the location within Casco Viejo was wonderful. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the free bike rentals they offer. The bar below offers happy hour beers for 50 cents - what more do you need? Ocean front view is sweet, but not all ocean front rooms are equal. Ask to see your room first if possible

Easily one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. It was very affordable, the atmosphere was lovely, the rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the staff were super helpful. Aoi was able to recommend great things to do around the city, and even book a bus ticket for me to head back to Bangkok. Most of the people I met here were really nice, and the garden was a perfect place to socialize or relax. If you head here, plan to stay longer than you expect :)

I didn't appreciate when I was told by one of the staff members that DC doesn't recycle, after I was trying to recycle a can of mine. D.C. is huge on sustainability. And even if it's true, the fact that he was so complacent and matter of fact about it bothered me. Otherwise I had a pleasant experience, and the dinner served on Sunday evening was sublime. My compliments to the chef! Start recycling and this will be a very groovy place to stay
