Hostel Suites Florida

Buenos Aires, Argentina

This hostel has a great location and is very well organized. It is huge and caters for all sorts of travelers. It has planned activities day & night, lots of information about BA and Argentina. Big common areas, lots of computers, couches, tables. Downstairs is where breakfast (its ok) is & it turns into a bar during the day/night. My room was good, big lockers, ensuite, air-con. staff were all friendly & helpful. only con IMO is because of its size it lacks the personal feel i like in a hostel

The staff were all great and the hostel was well organised and clean. Breakfast is good. i stayed here for 7 days and could have stayed longer.

Lovely people beautiful place, its location is in a small community called Arachania, 3km from both La Paloma and La Pedrera. Only a short walk to the beach and great views of it. TAS D VIAJE Hostel - Surf Camp - Suites

Punta del Este, Uruguay

great location & a well set out hostel, good common areas with outside having a bar so its good for socializing. Breakfast is good and the hostel was always clean. The staff were all very nice and helpful and they hire out surfboards, bikes. I have rated the facilities low not for shower/toilets as they were fine. But because room and beds were too small for 6 people, their bags & anyone taller than 6ft. Tip put locks on the doors if you allow people off the street to use the bar & facilities

Very clean well maintained hostel with a modern look. The staff are very nice and helpful they even give you a towel which is above and beyond for a hostel. It has a nice outside area and a big kitchen area with fireplace if you want to cook an asado. The sleep quality was high, with comfortable beds, air conditioning. Location is great right in the old town. The breakfast is ok.

Freedom Hostel

Rosario, Argentina
63%

The Location is excellent, the staff were all really nice but they and the hostel seemed to be only there for them all to hang out and have a their own hostel experience instead of being there and set up for the experience of the traveler/guest. Sleep quality was bad (downstairs) as it was brutally hot in the room and music was blasting until after 3am each night. Breakfast was below even Argentina standard. pro is the showers were good and its a secure hostel.

Che Salguero Youth Hostel

Cordoba, Argentina

I booked for 5 nights, stayed 8 and i could have stayed longer. All the staff and Dale, who has in the last year taken over, are great. Breakfast is fantastic with 2 types of pancakes each day. Location right near the bus station is good as you will want to catch buses for day trips out to surrounding towns, and only a short walk to get to most places of interest in the city. The hostel has a great social vibe with a bar, foosball, table tennis & great common areas. It is safe, secure and clean

Ventana Sur Hostal

Santiago, Chile
100%

This is a fantastic hostel, Ivan and his staff make you feel so welcome. It is very organised with lots of information about Santiago. It is clean and very secure in a quiet neighbourhood about 30min walk or 10min metro ride to central Santiago. The common area's inside and out are great and it has a pool to cap it off. I will be coming back to Santiago one day and will definitely stay here again.

Surfarm

Pichilemu, Chile
91%

Surfarm is fantastic, located 15min from Punta de lobos and 20min from Pichilemu, it has a private beach and a chilled out relaxing vibe that we all need to take in now and then. Go to surfarm and expect to make great friends, play card games, Surf a lot, just chill out and cook food either solo or with whoever else is there. The only issue is the showers can be problematic, but its not worth crying over as staying at surfarm is a great experience in total. Good breakfast!!

This hostel is a house converted to a hostel. The beds were comfortable and the hostel was clean and warm as were the showers. The owner is lovely always helping out. The breakfast is amazing just as other reviews have stated. A little common area with wifi which was on occasion a bit dysfunctional. My room had Lockers but bring your own locks. downside is that the bathroom which is 2 toilets and 2 showers, is a little cramped & needs work on the doors etc. Location is 10-15min from the centre

Art factory has a great rooftop balcony/bar and common areas so its easy to meet people from everywhere, 24 hour reception, the staff are all great, friendly, helpful with what to do in BA. The breakfast is pretty good, its a standard cereal/toast/coffee with scrambled eggs. My dorm had air conditioning, lockers, comfy beds. Wifi is good but they also have 3 computers to use. The bathrooms are a bit on the rough side but they were always clean. Location is good in the heart of San Telmo

Inka's Rest

Puno, Peru
66%

I only spent one night at inka's rest as a stop over but a few things stood out. The good. the staff were very friendly and the hostel has a warm cosy atmosphere. the price was also very reasonable. The not so good. It was a bit disorganised. I booked 2 months in advance and yet was put in an all girls dorm because they had no other beds available. There were random things seeming to be stored in halls and walk areas. The second toilet was also a bit gross and and crudely constructed/kept

The Hostel was nice and clean so was the ensuite in the dorm i stayed in. The Staff were helpful and the breakfast was quite good with a good variety. Location and price were great considering that it is a very expensive city. Only 10min walk to the main beach and 10-15min to the main shopping district. They didnt really promote much of a social vibe but if thats what your after you can probably find that out on the town. all round a good hostel

The Breakfast! for a hostel this is the best breakfast i have had, it sets you up perfectly for the day. The Location is great, right on the beach in Encantadas (southern village) you can take a short boat trip to the centre of the island or hike (1-1.5 hours). The Staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a big common area at the front of the hostel right on the beach. I was very pleased with everything at hostel marimar
