St Christopher's Village's location in Borough was ideal - it was close to two metro stations (Borough and London Bridge) and a short walk away from sites such as Borough Market and Tate Modern. It was sufficiently clean and had plenty of facilities such as a communal bar, cinema, chill out room and locker spaces for bags should you arrive earlier than the check-in time of 2pm. The staff were extremely friendly as well (except for the last girl at the counter who checked us out).
Our room was spacious for a six-bed dorm and had its own sink which was useful but overall, we found the facilities to be insufficient. There was one toilet downstairs which was constantly blocked and only one shower upstairs that we were made aware of. That aside, the staff members were very helpful and the location is great - short walk away from both the Queensway and Bayswater underground stations.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fort Boutique Hostel - situated above a cafe/restaurant on Stonegate, it is a short walk away from everything and on an extremely pretty and lively thoroughfare. We were extremely lucky because we had the entire floor to ourselves. The apartment itself was very well-heated, clean and comfortable. The staff were always incredibly polite and helpful, especially when they helped us carry my heavy luggage to the second floor. All in all, would highly recommend it!
Hatters at Hilton had great facilities, which I only realised once I went to other hostels. The bathroom was clean and extremely well maintained with three or four shower cubicles and two bathrooms - almost an anomaly in UK hostels. There was free wifi, which although was not functioning on the first day, came good on our second day. It's a short walk from the shopping strip and nearby restaurants and staff were most friendly and accommodating. Overall, a really good hostel that I'd recommend.
