Casa Aventura

It is an OK hostal. It has really nice hot showers and a good kitchen. The dorms are a nice size but try to get one at the back of the hostal. The ones on the front suffer from the noise of the street outside. I didn`t find the staff overly friendly, nor did they go out of there way to help you . However, you are in a great location for visiting the cerro`s, the port area, and close to the metro for Vina Del Mar. Not a bad stay.

Hostal Casa Verde

The best hostal so far in Chile for me. Adam makes you feel so welcome, and makes the whole stay so relaxed. Bewarned, if you don´t surf, or have no intention of learning then think twice, there isn´t much else to do! For those who do surf, it is the best! a couple of mins drive from Punta Lobos...adam normally gives you a lift. Great facillities to. I can´t recommend it enough.

La Bicicleta

Pucon, Chile

A well positioned hostel right off the main street of Pucon. The dorms are ok, a little cramped, but the bed are comfortable enough which is I guess what you need! I took a look at the private doubles....Two are very cramped, where you can not even walk between the beds. They do not have a kitchen, a fact I had over looked as I like to cook for my self. The staff were ok, not overly helpfull but not inpolite. It has a nice atmosphere, and overall I had a very fun time. Pucon has a lot to offer.

Hospedaje Vista al Mar

This is a nice hostel if you are only having a couple of nights. It`s more of a bed and breakfast, I don`t think there are any dorms. The owners are really nice, will try to give you any tips or advise and are interested in what you have done/where you are going. They don`t speak english that well. As a solo traveller it was just what I needed for one night. Close to the bus station, my own room, TV, a good place to recouperate. Maybe for a couple it would be perfect.

A really great hostel. The staff are amazing, will help you with anything, and from what I can tell, between them they can speak all most any language. It is a little far out from town, so if you want to be next to all the facillites then try somewhere else. Saying that, you will be loosing out! The hostel does pizza and empanadas if you can´t be bothered to cook, as well as beer. There is a bicycle hire to, at 60peso a day about 15mins to cycle to town, and about an hour to walk

The perfect hostel! Great location, really nice staff, and good facilities. The showers were always hot, and the beds comfortable. It has a nice atmosphere as the dining room/lounge are all together so it´s very easy to meet people, espeshilly if your travelling alone. I recommend doing the Chico bike circuit, but only if you like cycling...there are no flat parts, only up and down. Make sure you take the detour to villa tacul, it is the most beautiful place.

Estoril was a fantastic stay. I met whole host of amazing people doing a lot of different things! The staff were great, very helpful with any questions that you may have. Don´t miss out on the Thursday night BBQ, it is a lovely way to meet new people. I would most certainly stay here again.
