Nice modern hostel in Queens next to many metro lines. Just get a 7 day pass for $30 if you'll be staying for 5+ nights. This is the best you can get for the money in NY. Huge common area with kitchen downstairs, as well as another lounge on the 2nd floor. Staff friendly and the place was super clean.
We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you for choosing Q4!! We look forward to seeing you soon. Diana Gomez-Romero Q4 Management

Perfect location and great included breakfast. There were some issues with bed allocation which resulted in me being given a keycard that opened someone else's locker... it should have been checked beforehand as they knew there was some confusion. That aside, each bed had curtains, a shelf and even a fan! The ensuite contained 2 of everything so no wait time. Lots of common areas, guest kitchen and free computers too.

The dorm consisted of single beds only, each with a reading light and locker. There are security codes for the front doors. There was a nice free breakfast buffet. My only complaint is there wasn't any toilet paper later in the day...

You can't beat this for value! Hostel is lovely with a nice big courtyard and is kept very clean. The 4 bed dorm is a decent size and had air conditioning. Could use a side ladder and railing for the top bunks though. Located right next to the mezquita. The staff was happy to recommend sights and restaurants. You have to buzz in every time so security couldn't be better.

Great hostel offering free walking tours and a guided hike in sierra Nevada. Try the paella for 5 euros - better than I've had in restaurants!

Social hostel offering free sangria and a cheap meal every night. Not to mention the 5 euro litre cocktail buckets ;) The hostel itself is modern and clean with helpful and fun staff.

This seems to be the only hostel in Gibraltar so is quite pricy. Staff was friendly and very keen to help. Room was a bit worn and the taps in the basins all seemed to be temperamental. Perfect location right next to the main square but quiet at night. Ignore the map here on hostelworld - it's correctly marked on the tourist maps/boards around the city, next to casemates square.

Great location about 2 minutes from the bus and train station. They offer a lot including dinner and walking tours. Don't expect to sleep well though as the common area is loud til the early hours and can be heard from rooms (on the first floor at least). It could also use more bathrooms.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at over the past 11 months! Staff is incredibly helpful and will join you for a chat during downtime. The walking tours with Phillipo and Medi are entertaining as well as informative. The place has a relaxed atmosphere and the free sangria with cheap dinners get most people into the garden socialising.

For what you pay it does the job. Mostly longtermers so don't expect a travellers' atmosphere. The first room I was given with supposedly 2 beds free was absolutely filthy. Was switched to another when I went back rather than coming to check. The 2nd building was quite old and worn. WiFi was great though. You had a set of drawers but no lockers.

Best showers ever! This has the feel of a hotel and the lobby is full of people on laptops/phones because the signal doesn't reach rooms. Lockers are outside rooms which was a bit annoying. It's a large hostel so take a lot of groups and doesn't have a great atmosphere. Breakfast was very nice.

Nice hostel not far from the train station. Free transport ticket includes use of the funicular for the lazy ones ;) A good breakfast buffet is included which is a definite plus for Switzerland. No lockers in my room, although it seems others had them.

Right near the train station if that's what you're after. It's about a 20 minute walk to the centre along a main shopping strip, or a short metro ride. Bathroom lights use motion sensors and will go out if you're showering in there alone. Most of the staff were not customer focused and generally uninterested. They seemed to forget what they were doing for you the moment you step away to fill in a form or get your bags, even when reception wasn't busy. Breakfast was amazing.

Decent sized room with a small ensuite. Breakfast was a good buffet but only served from 7:30-8:30, with checkout at 9. No lockers.

This is a hotel with dorms, meaning no atmosphere. Large lockers in room and super clean. Located next to the train station and about 15 minutes walk to the centre. Free WiFi only in the lobby. There are plenty of power points and a charging station at the computers.

Nice sized ensuite rooms. Near train station, 20 minute walk to centre. There was an issue with water during my stay which meant cold showers only. Breakfast is basic - give it a miss if not included.

Decent cheap hostel in a good location. The rooms upstairs from reception (which I was "upgraded" to a 3 bed) all share 1 bathroom between about 10-15 people. This was missing a shower screen during my stay so was always flooded and covered in dirt. I later moved to my original 6 bed dorm in the room next to reception which had it's own kitchen, table and bathroom. This one had bunks but was much newer/better maintained than the other, and overall more comfortable.

Literally at/across from the bus station. This is pretty much a cheap place to sleep. Staff will answer questions but won't go out of their way to help you find information. No common area (besides a few chairs on the balcony) or kitchen.

Great hostel with very helpful staff and adorable cats! It can be difficult to find so make sure you have a map. It's less than 5 mins from the main square and pedestrian street.

Nice cosy hostel in a quiet location close to both the bus/train station and the city centre. Has only 2 bathrooms though with toilets inside.

Mike was an amazing host! He was full of suggestions on what to see and do, drove us around as it was the holidays with limited bus services, and always up for a chat. The room itself was large and clean, featuring a kitchenette. Recommended!

Amazing breakfast, dinner was so-so but a bonus with large portions. Good location with friendly staff and a nice big common/dining area. The 6 bed dorm's ensuite doesn't include a toilet so you need to go out to the shared ones anyway.

Stayed at this guesthouse for 2 nights. It was overall a comfortable place at a very good rate. The room and lounge/kitchen were clean, but ensuite in the single didn't have enough ventilation and the exhaust fan isn't sufficient (i'd leave it on when in the room). Since the entire bathroom floods after a shower as there's no stall, there's a mouldy smell. A little difficult to locate by address - make sure you note the directions given!

I stayed here (the Studios building) over Christmas and New Years and didn't want to leave! The dorm and ensuite was comfortable, new and clean. There was even a balcony. Key card access to the building and room. Charged PCs at reception, free WiFi, coin laundry and a sports bar serving reasonably priced food and drinks where you can meet other travellers.

I stayed here in the off season for just one night, a stopover to my final destination. Giorgos picked me up from the port late at night and made sure I had everything I needed. The room was a large, clean, modern studio with fully equipped kitchenette and balcony. Also included was the transfer back to the port.

By far the cleanest hostel I stayed in during my trip! The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, the hostel had tons of fun activities planned, and the free breakfast was delicious and ,roof top bar was a great way to get to know the other people staying in the hostel, they play some great music too. You ! Travellers... if you're going to Istanbul you have to stay here.
