Hostel Ospitalia del Mare

Nice and tidy hostel with plenty of room. The staff was nice and breakfast was good too. Only thing I missed was a kitchen or at least some type of kitchenware (e.g. plates, cutleries for making a sandwich or peeling a fruit).

Feels like you're living with the locals in this maze :) Th beach is really close as well as the shops and hiking paths. There's a well equipped kitchen, but therwise the room was a bit crowded. Really beautiful town, just didn't expect it to be such a touristic place. Anyhow, good experience for one night!

Ciao Hostel

When you enter this hostel you feel like you're in a hotel. High level of security (you use 3 different keys in order to get into your room). There're kitchen and apparently wifi (I didn't use). No bunk beds and there's tv in the room (didn't work though). I felt like the location was a bit remote after staying really close to the city center. Not very atmospheric place, good if you just need a place to sleep.

This small and cute hostel is a must when you stay in Firenze! It's close to the train station and just 5min walk to the Dome and the city. There's grocery store just around the corner, and good pizza and pasta on the very same street. The rooms are big, well equipped and some of them have great views! There's cute "common room/kitchen" where there's cutleries, plates, microwave and kettle so you can make sandwitch, have breakfast etc. but not cook properly. Otherwise, great place! Recommend.

Hostel Pisa

Big, quite well functioning hostel. Rooms are big (or at least 18 bed dorm where I stayed) with lockers (bring your own lock) and there's proper kitchen. In the evening we had bbq party at the hostel but unfortunately the music kept on going quite late (and the party wa just below our room) so it was hard to sleep. Also, if you're not a hard sleeper, the trains passing by might disturb sleeping. Otherwise good hostel with this price.

Seemed like a nice place, great location if you've an early flight to catch or you arrive late (like I did). Eventually I didn't stay at this hostel, there's some kind of problem with the key (the only key for the room was with the other tenants and they're out and couldn't be reached by phone) and I waited for an hour to be placed another hostel (same owner) on the other side of the city. Quite annoying, but this other hostel I ended up was good (Pisa Tower Hostel).
