Hostel Bambu Mini

Hostel had a good bar, good wifi, spacious rooms and was in a good location. It was also clean! When asked for help the staff were great and offered great information. Security not so great. No were to lock suitcases up and no individual dorm keys. Hostel was empty so we didn't get to meet anyone else.

El Misti Rooms

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

It was very very crammed. 6 people dorms could only fit 6 people in them when everyone were in their beds. Impossible to have more than 2 suitcases out from under the bed at a time. They had a lockup under the beds for you bags but they kept breaking and most locks didn't fit them. No individual door keys. Sheets looked thilthy, ripped and smelt dirty. The mattresses were feral. Bathrooms dirty and smashes in the windows ment people could see u when u showered. good wifi, great location!

They truly deserve a 100% ranking. Had 3 brand new macs in the lobby with free Internet. All worked really fast. They had clearly thought of all the little details that any traveller would want in a hostel. Had a few problems with the shower and was fixed strait away. Staff were helpful and friendly. They had small safes in the bedrooms for valuables and if your padlock wouldn't fit thy had a vending machine in the common area that sold locks for 2.50$ . Best hostel I have stayed in.
