Wombats City Hostel Budapest

Overall the hostel was pretty great. Excellent location and good fit out in the rooms with lockers, power points and lights at each bed. Rooms were also a good size and not to squishy. However, the wifi was terrible. I frequently could connect and the connection was too slow to even use messaging apps to communicate with friends and family at home. When long term travelling good wifi is a must. I ended up going over to costa every morning just to be able to use their internet.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Hello ! Thank you for your comment! I understand how important is the good wifi connection, but when we are almost fully booked it means that over 400 guests are using the wifi and sometimes could be slow. We try to have some solution for that soon. Hope to see you again in Budapest! Regards

This hostel was a good place to stay. We stayed in a 24 bed dorm - the rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and it was reasonably cheap compared to other hostels in the UK. If you're looking to meet lots of other travellers or spend a lot of time partying this probably isn't the hostel for you. All up though no complaints.

Seven Hostel

This hostel is not in Sorrento which is actually one of the fantastic things about it. I traveled into Sorrento a few times durring my stay and found it quite busy and rushed. This hostel is one train stop before Sorrento (from Napoli) in Sant' Agnello, a beautiful quiet little town while still being close enough to Sorrento for all of the major day trips (Capri, Almafi). The hostel is located in a beautiful big building with great clean facilities and 3 roof top areas with amazing views.

This hostel is clean, friendly and in an amazing location. It doesn't quite live up to the excellence of the YHA Oxford Street but unfortunately that hostel is near impossible to get into. I would definitely stay here again.
