I have stayed a couple times at this hostel and it really is average. There is usually only one staff member checking people in (no matter how many people are there) then after waiting someone else may come and help but you're usually waiting awhile. Bathrooms were pretty feral and could use a toilet brush in them. The food and drink deals at the bar are great, and 50% off Mexican in the basement between 5:30-7:30pm is amazing. Overall I probably wouldn't stay again.

Overall it is a place to sleep, it is a bit out of the city and you see the owner on arrival to check you in then you won't see him the whole time, so you can't really ask questions or get help. The owner speaks broken English so it is hard to understand him sometimes. Breakfast is literally just coffee and a croissant and sometimes there's none of either left so there isn't anything at all. Probably wouldn't stay again if I was ever in Rome.

Great hostel, very central location and friendly staff. Will definitely be staying here again if I go back to Iceland. Thumbs up! :)
