Ok hostel, though felt like more of a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. We had a nice double room and the hostel is a nice house with log fires for the winter. No breakfast though or even tea

Nice small sociable hostel, like coming into someone's house for a few days. The dorms are ok but we stayed in a twin room also which was tiny. Apart from that though very nice with a good kitchen and living area. Friendly staff who give good advice too.

Nice big hostel with a lot of communal space, conviniently located near to the main Plaza in Mendoza. Our double room was nice, although it had a very small bathroom, and the hostel has two kithcnes, and a nice patio and roof terrace with hammocks for relaxing etc. Helpful staff who booked us onto a day tour of the High Andes which was really good as well. Also free cake and wine everyday, spot on!

Chill House

Great hostel, one of the best we have stayed in in SA so far. Great character to the house, great atmosphere for chilling out and having a few beers with new people, helpful staff, nice big dorm rooms, and good location on the outskirts of Palermo. Not a party hostel but enough atmosphere to meet people and have a few big nights out. Only let down by the small breakfast. Highly recommended.

Very nice hostel close to the his terminal in Puerto Iguazu. We had a lovely double room upstairs. Nice areas to chill out by the pool and in the kitchen/bar area. Breakfast was a bit on the limited side though, but the room was good value for the price.

Ok place, big hostel with lots of rooms but our double room out the back was pretty terrible. Did have its own wi-fi though. Decent breakfast and pool though for relaxing. Short walk downhill from bus terminal.

Great place to stay, really good atmosphere and a friendly hostel. Massive delicious breakfast in the kitchen, just like you have been invited into the owners home. Very laid back and a great place to chill out while exploring beautiful Paraty. The dog is mental however and kept trying to shag everyone's legs though. Banter.

Nice hostel/hotel right on the front beach on the island. The receptionist was super helpful and spoke great English, we had a nice big double room and the breakfast was very nice every morning on the balcony overlooking the harbour in the sun. Good wi-fi and good value. My girlfriend did get

Fantastic hostel, all facilities felt brand new and hostel was spotless. Massive lounge kitchen area, great sauna, good rooms and a great location just down from the lake beach. Very helpful tour booking desk as well. One of the best hostels I've stayed in!

Nice little hostel, ideal for a stop on the Ocean Road trip. Nice dorm rooms and two huge well equipped kitchens. Big living areas but some are looking a bit tired. Close to Apollo Bay beach and shops etc.

We got upgraded to a double room when we arrived because the dorm rooms were full, but other than that this hostel is pretty average. The kitchen is quite poor because there is nowhere to store food (though we had a fridge in our room) and is also pretty small. There are no decent communal areas so socialising isn't that great. Bathrooms are good though and the location is central in KC.

Great little hostel, though more like a B&B or guest house than a hostel. Nice rooms, great kitchen and good living areas and terrace. A 10min walk from Katoomba train station. Could be a bit cold but there are plenty of heaters about. Bathroom could do with a bit of work though. My girlfriend had a shower with a Huntsman.

Nice big hostel complex with party atmosphere and busy attached bar. Double rooms are a bit small but well air conditioned and clean. Free wi-fi as well which is good. Kitchen facilities are pretty poor but apart from that not much to complain about. $5 luggage storage for our 2N Whitsunday trip.

Great place, great staff, great base for a few days in Yogya! The rooms were nice though basic, but very clean and the courtyard area is lovely. The staff are fantastic and were very helpful with any requests for tour bookings. No safe but felt very secure anyway. Local prayer call in the morning slightly annoying! Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Backpackers Inn Chinatown

We turned up at Backpackers Inn Chinatown and checked in and they told us they were over booked, but that we would stay at one of their friends hotels, and that it was a better room. They took us there (5footway inn) and settled the bill, we then got taken to an awful box room with bunk beds and no window, it was a bad room. Facilities were generally poor but location was good. Not a proper review of Chinatown backpackers but our experience.
