The hostel is designed to pack in as many people as possible, so expect to find dozens of people everywhere anytime, specially for high seasons I guess. Thus, noise is abundant at anytime (even after midnight) and sleeping can be a problem. The facilities are well maintained and cleaned daily. The staff was nice and some of them willing to help. Location is great, just at the middle of important attractions.

It's very centric and pancakes for breakfast is great! Contrary to my expectations by previous reviews, I found the staff willing to help. I stayed in a single dorm for two nights and I didn't have any issues.

The dorm was quite comfortable. The place looks nice and very traditional. Big kitchen. The only complain is it should not be allowed to smoke inside the kitchen!

Quite and peaceful place to stay. I had a very good rest here. It's about 10 min. from the bus station and 10 min. also from the city center. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Nice environment. Staff seemed to be helpful and attentive the whole time. The terrace and the BBQ were the best! Basic breakfast.

It's about 15 min. from the old city, not a problem if you are used to walk. The rooms are just what you paid, nothing really terrible. The only thing I complaint is the staff. One particular woman in the reception seemed to be extremely annoyed when I asked for information. Besides her mood, she gave me wrong information. As a traveler is really disappointing to deal with this kind of people.

The owner of the hostel is really friendly and cheerful. The location is good, an easy 10 min walk to the center. The rooms are quite packed with as many beds as possible so if people is quite' there shouldn't be a problem to sleep ... I had a great time here meeting people. The only thing I complain are mosquitoes, I was nearly eaten by them during the night!

The staff was nice. They have to get rid of cockroaches and to provide more security as I had the sense anyone from outside could enter the dorm.

Great location! Is so centric that it will be hard to sleep, the noise from the street is very loud. Staff is friendly and breakfast is good and abundant. In the dorm it seems there is a problem with the pipes, the floor was always wet near the bathroom. Lockers are not free.

The place is quite terrible, but the price is also very cheap. The shower is a sort of box in the room which can be very uncomfortable with strangers. Besides the oddities in the rooms, there are two serious issues: Security and location. There are many jobless practically living there, so be careful with all your belongings (even clothes). The place is about 30 min by tube to main attractions, so you will spend some pounds to get there. Think twice before staying here!

The dormitories are quite small and lack ventilation. The location is good to start to walk around The Bock. One thing I really didn't like about this hostel is the staff. Most of them were very rude and not helpful. Is a pity to have such impression on the people of Luxembourg. It is very disappointing to have to deal with people like this.

Excellent location. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bar is nice and they offer free pasta every night which is a nice detail. Good breakfast. The 'electronic' system to get into the room is really a pain. The staff at the reception should be nicer, I found them quite rude compared to other hostels in Germany.

Very nice hostel, rooms are spacious and quite, far away from the reception and bar. Is quite a 10 min. walk from the nearest subway station. Staff were firendly and very helpful.

I love this place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are big and clean. The common room is also very comfortable. It's around 15 min. walk from the city center which makes it a little complicated to buy groceries. However, since is very likely to take tours that will pick you up in the hostel, its location is not a major problem.
Thank you for staying with us. Welcome back! Love from the Bus. x

I was totally disappointed about this hostel. My bed had a hole in the middle and was difficult to sleep. They offered a kitchen but was totally useless for the time I was there. Also, someone opened my wallet while I was sleeping and stole all my cash. The owner then just said he can't do anything because there are no security cams in the room. Additionally, some of the staff were so annoying trying to sell me tours since the momment I arrived the city. I think this hostel got overrated.

Great location! Just a short walk from the train station. The rooms are very comfortable, there is plenty of space! Both the safe boxes and the bathrooms are outside the room which is just great. The hostel is quite popular so there is a lot of people coming and leaving and it seems the staff got careless about the guests.
Thank you for your review.Obviously we are glad that we are a popular Hostel, and there is a lot of coming and going, but we do our best to offer all our Guests the same service.

The space inside is very small and you can practically hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms. The night I stayed there was a couple quarreling (at midnight) somewhere in the boat. The woman was crying and besides the fact it was quite scary, the noise was totally annoying and was difficult to sleep. Due do the nature of the place, the staff should have more control on this kind of situations.

The rooms are nice and the place look "cool". Considering the prices in Sweden I would say is a good option and is quite close from the main train station. Be aware the linen is not included in the price. The kitchen really needs to be improved. Is very small and it hard to get clean plates. It seemed everyone was free to leave the mess they wanted. During a night I stayed someone was stolen in the room, so always be careful.

Is a good place to stay but I did not feel it has anything special to offer. Doesn't have a kitchen, the common room is used for other sort of events so you cannot stay there whenever you want. It's just a huge hotel converted to a hostel. The rooms don't have lockers so in a four people room, everyone has to share the same wardrobe.

The staff was very rude. The hostel should not hire people that hate attending travelers. The place is quite old and the rooms are creepy. When I got to the dorm I found two mafia-looking couples and it looked like they stayed in the room the whole day drinking. The place is also not close from the subway, so be prepare you have to walk around 15 min. if you want to get out of the area.

It looks like a huge commercial hostel chain. Cheap and facilities are very nice, just next to the train station so you can go everywhere in Hamburg from there.

A good place to stay, very close to the South Gate and has a nice restaurant. DO NOT TRUST THE TOURS OFFERED BY THEM. They will take you to some factories and try to sell you things at very high price, specially silk. I took the tour for the Terracotta Warriors with them and we spent most of the time in shopping stores. They included the Qin Emperor's Mausoleum within the tour and only spent 10 minutes there.

It seems before was a nice place, now is decaying. It is full of Chinese people that just moved to the city to look for a job and this makes the environment kind of weird. Some staff are friendly, some are not. However, it is a cheap place to stay, has a nice bar and not far from the subway, is about a 10 min. walk.

Price is quite high so they provide just what expected. Location is very good, however Hong Kong is a very compact city and transportation facilities are very good, so consider other cheaper options. The rooms are clean however there are 9 beds in a room and noise can be a serious problem. Some staff are nice, some staff are not, two girls working there were very rude and helpless when asking questions. This place seems to be overrated, other hostels should be considered.

I liked this Hostel. The staff were very kind and helpful, they always helped me with any question I had about how to get to the places. The facilities are great and I felt very comfortable while I was in there. It is a little bit away from the main lines of train but I think it is still a good option to stay considering the price.

Good place to stay considering the price. It is basically a normal Taiwanese apartment with some bunk beds in it. It is very small and very susceptible to noise if having noisy hosts. It is a very good option for one or two nights considering its close location to the train main station. The owner of the place (speaks English) is very kind and offers deals to go to 龜山島 (Turtle Island).
