Location and facilities are good, but it was not so easy to get in for check in at 6 p.m. and to find the girl at the reception too. They should also warn you need to pay an extra for bed linen.

The hostel is pretty close to the trainstation, you're given towels and there is liquid soap at the shower room, wifi was ok at the dorm. Can't tell about breakfast cause I left early in the morning.

Loki Backpackers La Paz

Pros: location (tour offices nearby, in front of a police office), comfy beds, hot shower, good breakfast, free coca tea, lockers (bring your own locker), good wifi, good atmosphere, party hostel, good place at the terrace, paid fruit salad for breakfast is a big meal. Cons: staff is usually friendly (reception, housekeeping, kitchen...), but some at the bar could be better.

Ecopackers Machupicchu

Machu Picchu, Peru

Pros: close to the bus station to MP, comfy beds, wifi was ok, good atmosphere, clean bedrooms, lockers, pool table at the bar. Cons: little hard to find it at first at night (only a small door to the sidewalk), bathroom in the room was awful (shower looked new, but walls were covered with mold), better use the bathroom at the bar. More: don't expect to sleep well cos the city runs trains all over the night and people start waking up at 3 a.m. but maybe this problem applies for all the city inns

Pariwana Hostel Cusco

Cusco, Peru

Pros: just a few blocks from plaza de armas, comfy beds, hot shower, good breakfast, free coca tea and leaves, laundry, lockers (bring your own locker), good wifi, good atmosphere, party hostel (but really quiet at night), ATM at the hostel. Cons: the room smelled bad, but maybe putting a fan in the bathroom would be ok. More: friendly and helpful staff, specially Veronica at the bar, whose tips about typical food and how to manage sorochi were very useful.

Miraflores House

Lima, Peru

Pros: good location (Miraflores), the manager Francis is very helpful with tips about the city (specially about food if you don't have money enough to eat at Gaston's restaurants), hot shower, comfy beds, quiet hostel at the time, nice room with lots of musical instruments, good basic breakfast, you are given towels, soap and shampoo. Cons: the bathroom could be a little better. Francis, if you're reading it, install hooks in the bathroom for towel and clothes.

Good place to sleep, a silent place at the Red District. There are computers with internet for free, 3 breakfast options, wi-fi at the reception and breakfast area, place to store luggage after check-out time (with labels). The only problem is the shower box, it's really tiny.
