A good, clean hostel with a friendly atmosphere. Lots of help and instructions provided by the staff. The 8-bed mixed dorm was pretty cold, but in the 3-bed mixed dorm there was an aircon which helped a lot.
A true backpacker guest house - really easy to meet people. Relaxed atmosphere. A bit chaotic and facilities were so-so, as mentioned the watertap leaks but honestly speaking, this guest house is so cheap I'm not complaining. Location is pretty good. I will definitely stop by Mr. Kim's next time as well.
Even though Kyoto was too full of tourism for my taste, this guest house made it worth the visit. Santiago Guest House is a cheap, clean and comfortable place with friendly and funny staff. The cafe
Caminoro is a nice and clean guest house a bit further away from the central. The location is different and interesting, as the guest house is located in a local marketplace "tunnel". Facilities were good, I wish girls could've used the shower upstairs as well though. Staff is very nice and helpful, extra thanks for the yukata rental, it was a great experience!
A comfortable guest house with an amazing view. Staff is relaxed and helpful. The hostel is pretty small, so not that many guests stay at the same time. Sometimes had to wait to get to bathroom, as there are only two and the showers are located in those. All in all, I had a good short stay, it kind of felt like home!
I was in Seoul for two weeks and the whole time I stayed in this guest house even though I had booked only one night at first. The staff was awesome, flexible and kind and the room was perfect. Nice bathroom, a small kitchen and even a computer. There were slight problems with the aircon, luckily it worked in the end. A big plus for the location: the subway entrance is right next to the building! Thank you JK Guest House, I promise to come again next time. :) -Iida
