Great location for New Delhi Station. Our room was a reasonable size but a little dark.
This was by far the best hostel we stayed in in India. The staff were absolutely superb, rooms were spotless and we enjoyed the Bollywood films on the roof terrace in the evenings. We also opted to go on their overnight camel safari which was very good and good value (but there was no hard sell so you didn't have to go with them if you didn't want to). We'd definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to others.
Great location for airport rail link, SkyTrain and the shopping and entertainment district (a bit far from some of the other sights). We stayed twice, private rooms are spacious with good air con but a bit of noise from the road. There are some good communal areas downstairs. The lady on reception in the evenings was particularly friendly and helpful.
Security was excellent but the showers and kitchen could have done with a thorough clean. Our main concern though was the noise: our room overlooked the internal courtyard where people can sit and chat. The hostel says its meant to close at 10pm but both nights we stayed there the noise continued until the early hours of the morning so we didn't get much sleep.
The location is very good for buses, trains and the ferry shuttle bus and it was ok for just one night's stay. I'm not sure I'd want to stay there for longer though as it was generally a little bit run down and there was lots of noise from the street below at night. Generally it was a bit too big and impersonal for us.
Nice hostel with very friendly manager. The kitchen was great but we opted for dinner in the little restaurant in the basement which was brilliant - one of the best meals out we've had in NZ. We would definitely recommend this hostel to others.
Loved the free chocolate cake and ice cream! Everything about the hostel was great and we'd stay there again.
Really friendly and helpful staff and great location but the room was a little bit plain.
Brilliant hostel with excellent facilities and nice communal areas.
Big place and a bit of a party hostel but you can still get a good night's sleep. Much better than the Nomads in Auckland. It was very professionally run but it was more of a business than a homely welcome.
Nice hostel. Half the residents were out partying till 2am, the other half were up at 5am for the alpine crossing. Not sure any of us got much sleep!
Sparkling clean hostel with excellent kitchen facilities and friendly communal area. Great staff.
Great location but they crammed too many people in. The rooms were tiny and there were not enough showers and toilets for everyone. It was ok for a couple of days but I wouldn't want to stay there for a longer trip.
We had a good stay here. There was a slightly funny smell in the room but it wasn't really a big deal. The terrace and kitchen were good. The staff were friendly. We thought it was great value for money
The hostel is in a good location within walking distance of interesting sights and street food/cafes. It has nice communal areas. Breakfast was ok. We had a room upstairs which was basic but clean. The walls are very thin though and the floorboards make a lot of noise so you have to hope you have quiet neighbours! We found the bathrooms at the back of the hostel were nicer than the ones upstairs.
The hostel is in a great location - just outside the backpacker district so it has good amenities but is also quiet plus within walking distance of the Grand Palace and Siam Museum. The room was big, nicely decorated and very clean. Security was excellent - there was a lockable cupboard in the room for valuables and the front door was locked at night. We would stay there again if we visited Bangkok.

We had a great stay. The location was good for us (15-20 minutes walk from the beach) so its quiet plus there are loads of great street food places very close by which are much better value than the restaurants near the beach. The room was large and nicely furnished. It was cleaned every day. There was a great selection of DVDs to borrow too. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They arranged a four island day tour for us which was excellent fun and great value.

We stayed one night in a double with ensuite and one night in a three bed dorm with shared bathroom. Everywhere including the shared bathroom was spotless as were the bed linen and towels. Its a modern building with a pleasant communal area and decking plus fishpond. The little kitchen was a real bonus. It has the facilities of a hostel with the standards of a boutique hotel but this was reflected in the price.
Great hotel with excellent staff. The room was large, clean and nicely furnished. It lacked a little in atmosphere but they served the best breakfast we've had for a long time on our trip. We'd definitely stay there again.
Great little hotel. Comfy beds, very clean and a good breakfast. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. They booked us bus tickets to Phnom Penh and gave us advice about local buses to Mekong Delta but weren't pushy at all. It was nice to chat to other guests over breakfast. We'd definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others.
We only stayed for one night but we were really pleased with the hotel. Staff were very friendly, it was very clean with a very nice modern bathroom. Breakfast was great - one of the best we've had in Vietnam so far. Our only slight negative was that there was no window in our room so no natural light. However we'd definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.
Great little hostel in good location. We really enjoyed a group dinner they prepared for all the guests - the spring rolls were delicious and it was a great way to meet others. Breakfast was good, the room was great, the bathroom was clean. They allowed us to use a room free of charge for a hot shower between our trips to Ha Long Bay and Sa Pa and we liked it enough to book in again when we returned from Sa Pa. We were grateful to them for booking some train tickets for us.
The bathroom was dirty and it looked like the sink hadn't even been wiped recently, the bed sheet was stained. Its a steep walk uphill from the old town and the bus station/ferry. We were pleased to have a lift from the bus station when we arrived. Our dorm had a nice balcony where we could chat to our roommates but we wouldn't stay there again.
We were very kindly picked up from the station even though our train was over an hour late. The hostel is just a short walk from the station and the town. We had a private twin room that was small but adequate. There was a bit of a wait for the bathroom in the morning but free tea and bosnian coffee was provided outside for all the guests to meet and talk.
The hostel is a short walk from the centre of Sarajevo in a quiet part of town. We had a private twin room which was great value for money. The hostel is a good base to see Sarajevo from but but the hostel itself doesn't have a huge amount of atmosphere. It was clean and safe and we'd stay there again.
The owners were friendly and very helpful. The kitchen was very well equipped - much better than most hostels. There was a friendly vibe throughout and the good communal areas made it easy to meet other travellers. Comfy bed. The only downside was that the wifi was intermittent while we were there but the owners very kindly let us use their computer. Great stay - would definitely go back there in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay. The owner and his family were really friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was handy, the terrace and common room were welcoming, lockers were available and there was air con.
The staff were excellent - really friendly and helpful. There was also a very friendly atmosphere However it felt like the hostel tried to cram as many people as possible into a very small space. We were in the five bed dorm which is basically a corridor which everyone must use to access the kitchen, bathroom and a six bed dorm. Also there was nowhere to leave valuables.
