The room we booked was small but clean, the ac and wifi worked and the hostel was in a good location. No safety deposit box was provided in the room which was the main downside. We didn't really have much to do with the staff or anyone else staying in the hostel so can't really comment on the staff or atmosphere. It was basic but did the job.

A really great hostel - nice rooms, brilliant bathrooms, and really easy to meet other travellers.
Thought Diva was brilliant - the only negative was that not all of the dorms have lockers and so valuables had to be left in the safety deposit box which wasn't always open.
A lovely hostel with very nice staff - although a little too quiet and hard to meet other travellers.
Was great - just a little bit quiet though.
Breakfast was great and the hostel was clean with a good atmosphere though a little out of the way it was still within easy walking distance of town. Only negatives were a bit of a mix up with our booking which was fine and that not all of the dorm rooms have lockers - tho mine did the 4 bed dorms didn't seem to which I wouldn't have been ok with.
Nothing wrong with it, tho it lacked a bit of atmosphere. The only negative was that you couldn't attach your own padlocks to the lockers.
I couldn't fault it. The staff were lovely, the breakfast great, rooms clean and comfy, lockers had keys but you could also attach your own padlocks. Just great.
My stay at the hostel was nice and uneventful. It was clean with good aircon and lockers that you can put your own padlocks on. Having read previous reviews I was very careful to lock up valuables at night, but at least one girl thought she had things stolen in the night. But be careful with your belongings in Sihanoukville anyway - there were lots of reports of phones and wallets being stolen while on the beach.
Thought the hostel was great. The swimming pool was a nice addition too. Only (slight) negative was that bus prices booked through the hostel were a few dollars more than if you booked through the bus company - but that's generally expected I think and there was no pressure to book tthrough them.
Great location, great staff and all in all a nice place to sleep. However the hostel wasn't particularly social and harder to meet other backpackers than other hostels I've stayed in.
Couldn't fault it. A very social hostel - everyone is encouraged to get involved. Had a great few days here.
I really enjoyed my stay at Moonstone (despite the strange decor). It was a bit pricey but that was just the full moon I think. The staff were friendly and really helpful, the beds were comfy ) if a little tightly crammed in) and it was very easy to meet people for the full moon in the dorm. Food downstairs was good. The only negative was the shower wasn't very good. But a great place to stay for the full moon. Only about 5 mins from the beach (and far enough away that sleep was possible)
A bit pricey for a dorm but everything about the hostel was great and I'd happily stay here again
Staff were very friendly and welcoming; room was better than I was expecting for the price. Only real downside was the location, while accesible, it was down an alley off the main street which wasn't very clean and felt a bit sinister after dark. The hostel however was great and i would stay there again.
