Mexico City Hostel

Mexico City, Mexico

Really nice place to stay, our room was absolutely huge, really clean and we could see the main plaza from our window. Breakfast was good and varied every day. Things I didn't like is that there isn't a male/female bathroom on each floor. One floor has a male bathroom, the next floor has a female, which means that my boyfriend had a long trek to the toilets in the middle of the night. Also, at night they use sensor lighting which is quite slow to react and it meant I had to walk to the bathroom

Tower Bridge Backpackers

Puerto Escondido, Mexico

Lovely place.. very good value for money. Staff are lax but it sums up the good relaxing feel you get for this place and what you want from a beach stay..... The owner is a bit of a chopper though

Hostel Mundo Joven Catedral

Mexico City, Mexico

Amazing view of the main square from the roof. Private room was a little small, very hot and stuffy and noisy. Breakfast was a little unorganised and could have done with some more staff to help out.

Macondo Hostel

San Gil, Colombia

Private room was amazing, really clean and felt luxurious. However it was right next to the kitchen so got a little noisy around meal times. The owner was really helpful, but some of the other staff were not so friendly. One was more interested in watching bike racing on the TV before she wanted to check us in, and the other man was playing his music really loud when a group of guests were trying to watch a film, so we were unable to hear. Good day trips can be booked through the hostel.

The Dreamer Hostel

Santa Marta, Colombia

Lovely hostel with a pool, perfect for hot days in Santa Marta, dorms were spacious and clean. Food offered was good, but a little pricey and a wide variety of trips to explore the area.

Makako Chill Out Hostel

Cartagena, Colombia

We really loved this hostel. The aircon in the rooms was great, most of the staff were incredibly friendly and there was a really nice atmosphere. We asked to reserve a night for when we got back, and they wouldn't confirm it. They told us to wait until the morning, and when we asked in the morning they told us we definitely had a bed but they weren't sure in what room. When we came back we didn't have a room, and they tried to put us in the Chill House which has terrible reviews.

Hotel Casa De Nelly

San Agustin, Colombia

We loved staying at this hostel. It felt like a home away from home. It was about 15 mins walk from the centre of San Augustin and had a lovely garden to sit and relax in and the rooms were really nice. The staff were amazing, really helpful and friendly. Gustavo's cooking was really tasty, and their army of pets were also very amusing!

Hospedaje Brabant

Nazca, Peru

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a nice and relaxed hostel, we spent lots of time on the roof enjoying the sun. Also the staff were super helpful! Thanks guys!

La Posada del Sol

Samaipata, Bolivia

We thought the room was amazing for the price. We had a double with an amazing view for the same price we would normally get a dorm. The garden was beautiful too.

Hostal CasArte Takubamba

Sucre, Bolivia

Loved this hostel, it was spacious and clean.

Hostal Los Salares

Tupiza, Bolivia

we thought the hostel was really nice and clean. Good to get a hot shower, and breakfast is always good when it's cooked for you. It was a little far from the centre of things, maybe a 15-20 minute walk to restaurants.

Lacandona Hostel

Cordoba, Argentina

I thought the hostel was in a great place near the bars and the center of cordoba. It was also really clean and I liked that every morning the bathrooms and kitchen were cleaned. I didn't feel like their was enough information to help tourists e.g there was only one map to share around the whole hostel. The breakfast was ok. Our room was very noisy and we could hear others in the hostel until 6 in the morning. There wasn't much of a traveller atmosphere there.

La Lechuza Hostel Rosario

Rosario, Argentina

We loved this hostel, the staff were so friendly and really made our stay in Rosario. Juan made everyone feel welcome and Rita was an endless source of entertainment. Loved the community feel, dorms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was also really tasty. Southend has the longest pleasure pier in the world.
