Loved it, great location for what you pay for, didn't feel scared or 'shady' at all from what otherreviews have said. Nice 10-15min walk to the acropolis. Room was great, wifi good, breakfast included and very modern hotel. Enjoyed it

Superb location and room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wifi is terrible here, other than that enjoyed it. Private 4 bed room was great for friends and I. Air con, laundry and fridge!
Better than paradise beach as private bay and clean! Good atmosphere, great djs on site, cheap drinks at bar, good for pre partying and also relaxing by pool during day. Only downfall is hot sheds you sleep in but guess sleep is not for this island! Buy groceries in town, supermarket is expensive.
Great location if you have an early ferry departure. Hotel staff friendly, great place, would stay here again. They even translated menu to English for us and helped ordered food late at night. Very helpful.
Good location just off the centre with easy access to everything but it's a small town anyway. Room was nice, but detached from main building so quite annoying to go to main lobby to get wifi. Do the green tour with the hostel - most companies offer it, but it's easy to book the day prior through reception. Illhami (reception) is nice and very helpful. Pool is not clean but probably as its off peak season so don't bother taking your swimmers! Haha
Great facilities and location but expensive for this area? Went and it was quiet but got a free upgrade which was nice. The place itself is really modern and cool. Staff are super friendly! Own huge kitchen so can cook your own meals :)

Flash hostel in great location! Loved the room and big kitchen too cook own meals. Not much of a vibe here or cool communal areas I experienced in other hostels in Reykjavik, but had lovely girls in my room and we made the most of it! Would recommend this place.
Beautiful hotel, so much more luxurious in real life. Staff so friendly and helpful. Yummy breakfast each morning. Only downside was location - although close to the train station, it's a bit on the 'outskirts' and at night time can feel a bit unsafe walking down the street but once your inside the hotel, it's like a palace. Would recommend this place again and just advise single travellers to be careful!
Great location and very clean and modern. Down falls no kitchen to cook own meals and it's annoying to climb up to the top bunk if you are short!! Bit weird experience but a clean and happy one :) Friendly staff.
Best hostel I've ever stayed at so far! Ultra cool, modern, clean and perfect location. Got free upgrade to private room with ensuite as they overbooked- couldn't complain at their great hospitality and help when I needed to find the bus to split! Would stay here again!
Nice place, amazing location and friendly staff. churros for breaky! Rooms are too hot, air con doesn't work and if you leave door/window open at night you get the drunken noise from the main street. Super easy to find, perfect location and would recommend this to those on a budget. Not much of a big party/social vibe but wasn't looking for this. I did meet some awesome people however!
Brilliant hostel - stayed here 1 night for a gig. Great vibe, friendly helpful staff and awesome rooms. Only issue is rubbish plumbing on our shared bathroom area but wasn't too much of a hassle. Try the vanilla chai latte at reception and make sure u do the free walking tour! Staff so nice they went above and beyond to help my friend sort out her missing concert tic, calling venue and speaking Danish etc etc lol. Amazing!
AMAZING hostel! Stayed here over New years - great location, go to the cheap burger joint next door for best meals or cook your own stuff. There's a sainsbury around the corner. Bit far of a walk from 'main' drag, but still goo to get 'away' from the business. Would definitely stay here again. I stayed in the crazy 36 (or 39?) mixed dorm and was loads of fun! Super safe :)
Firstly, the instructions how to get the subway there are terrible. Note - from JFK, get to Jamaica Station, then get on the 'E' to 14th st and switch to the L train. (Not sure why they didn't just tell us this in first place? Would save so much time/confusion) Place was good, except the elevator didn't work (sucks to be on the top floor :( ), breaky was average but ok. Free BBQs 3 nights a wk which is good. Staff could be more helpful though (some had attitude problems). Location was great.
Definitely stay here if you want the beach! Staff said 5 min walk but it took more like 10-15min but it's still very close! It's a student dorm so be aware of this, but that didn't phase my experience. It was spacious, huge, clean, comfy bed and had communal kitchen with equipment. Theres a few cafe downstairs if you can't be bothered making your own meals etc too. Nice place! and the uni is ammmmazing!
Great hostel, friendly staff, loved the breaky (get your nutella on haha) and cleanliness. Definitely do the free walking tour and do the tapas/pub crawls. This was my first hostel experience with a friend and it was awesome, would come back again! Stayed in the 4 bedroom female private and it was spacious and amazing views and just awesome! Only downfall was the wifi only accessible from lobby, can't google stuff from your room but it forces you to meet awesome people downstairs ;)
