This was the absolute worst hostel I have ever seen. I was appalled at the place. The place is disgusting. I was given the large dorm when I booked and paid for a private en-suit. He said there was nothing he could do about it because his colleague switched me in the system and all the privates were now filled. The rooms were like saunas. The bathroom flooded. They had roaches. A drunk from the streets stayed there and smelled awful. There was one outlet to be used. The whole place was foul.
The only negative things about this hostel are that the was no a/c and you are allowed one shower a day with a specific shower coin and my shower lasted about three or so minutes. Other than that it was fine.
Cool little apartment with a kitchen and bathroom. The a/c also worked perfectly! The location probably blinded me because I could stay in a box in Cinque Terre and be happy.
Facilities and room wise, it was the nicest hostel I have ever booked. It is fancy. I had the room to myself and it had a/c, nice bathrooms and very comfy beds. Definitely would recommend.
This place was awesome. Had a nice big room to ourselves and it was super quaint and "Irish." The owner was really cool and the location can't be beat.
The location is majestic and serene. The couple that owns it is completely awesome and hospitable. It was very neat, cozy and clean and the breakfast was wonderful.
One of the staff was the nicest person ever. She upgraded us to the B&B side and was amazingly friendly. She and the place embodied Irish culture.
The shower flooded our whole room and got everyone's things wet. It is also pretty far away from a lot of things. Other than that, it is a nice and clean place with a good bar.
Their own bar inside was actually pretty cheap and handy. Cool layout of the hostel as well.
The staff was the best part. They were super nice and chill. The location can't be beat as it is right across the street from a plethora of cool little store-front bars that are eclectic and different.
This hostel is NOT located where their map claims. It is also in a very rough surrounding area, the setting for Green Street Hooligans if you have ever seen that. It was incredibly sketchy and just an odd set up. It is very very far from city center, so be prepared to take a 30-40 minute bus ride to the city which gets quite expensive. The pictures were also not where we stayed. The guy in charge was nice, but never seen. It is also not a bed and breakfast like they list. No breakfast.
The hostel was wonderful. It has the hostel feel that a lot of people want, with a communal guitar to play, movie nights, cool painted walls, etc. There is free internet in the common areas, which would be nice to have it in the rooms as well. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The location to Las Ramblas and other areas was also great. Overall one of the best hostels I've ever booked.
This place was in a great location, right at Moulin Rouge and Montmartre area and a metro station. The area was really quaint with a lot of character. The hostel was clean, good breakfast, and nice staff. The beds were annoyingly squeaky, but the rooms and private bathrooms are pretty nice. There is not a common room like in a lot of hostels with couches and stuff, but there is a room with tables and chairs.
Worth the money, good location, nice staff.
The staff were wonderful. It has a very big hostel feel with multiple areas to hang out and meet people. The free breakfast is enough to hold you over, and they do a lot with the guests every night like ice cream socials and pub nights. The beds were comfortable and facilities were fine. It gets noisy at night because it is near three major bars, so you hear all of that. The internet was awful. It was broken or barely worked while I was there. But overall a good place.
