The directions for how to get here need to updated; especially as bus numbers have changed. Staff are really lovely, pleasant and helpful - always around to help. This is the only hostel in the area - so they have a monopoly. Unfortunatly during my stay, the bunk beds in both dorm rooms has a bed bug infestation. The only alternative the hostel offered was to change to the other dorm room, not to look at removal of the infected furniture. No lockers for belongings, shower head above toilet.
Pretty easy to get to, from Gard du nord. Almost central location and links to the main roads, buses and metros make old town and the other sectos easily accessible. However, it is also easy to walk to other sectors from here. It's the cheapest hostels in Bucharest, so pretty basic facilities, however lovely and helpful staff are on hand to guide you to places around.
At first the hostel appeared to be run quite well, and I was satisfied with the value for money. However, the bedding was stained and the bed itself was uneven - had a quite poor nights sleep.
The price reflects the quality of the hostel - however the staff are helpful and nice!
