Nice hostel, close to the city centre. They give you lots of ideas on what to do in Merida in the evening and for daytrips you can do by yourself. The swimming pool is great too. The dorm is fine. Some blinds or curtains would have been a good idea for the beds near the entrance. Also, more sockets would be convenient since every 2 beds have 1 socket which is also needed for the fan. Breakfast is simple, and dishes washed in cold tap water.

Nice place to stay: clean, very very good breakfast included, close to Khaosan Road, tv but with only a few channels, wifi, hot showers, roof terrace. Curtains would have been nice as to not wake up at sunset and you get a fleece blanket without any sheets which is okay though as it seemed clean.

Location was okay: walking distance to pub street with all the restaurants around it and to the main streets leading to Angkor Wat. You can cycle to Angkor Wat in less than 25 minutes. The room itself wasn't that great. Bugs could enter the room; the shower was cold and almost right above the toilet; the sheets weren't clean and had holes in them. There was no tv or a/c but there was a fan. You cannot expect much more for 6 dollars, so you get what you pay for.
