The hoststaff was actually very nice. After our arrival they seemed a little distant and not interested, but were later very keen on showing us interesting points on the map and made overall very good recommandations. The location of the hostel is very good. Its general a safe place to sleep, you are not far away from the Acropolis and you don't hear anything from the loud traffic. The facilities are pretty poor but you manage to bear this somehow. Shower right next to the toilett is annoying.

Abercorn House Hostel

The Abercon Hostel was overall a good choice. It was very clean, the staff was nice and the location is immediantly next to the Hammersmith tube station, which provides a good connection to the main sightseeing points in London. I stayed with a friend in a room with two beds for a good price. The only disatvantages you have to note is that you can only pay in cash, that the rooms are badly soundproofed and that you have nothing in the showers to put your clothes on. Besides that great stay.
