I have already given feedback to the hostel - a mirror is needed in the bedroom in which I was accommodated and the mattress needs updating - it was a bit 'lumpy'!

Dorm rooms need some attention - not enough hooks for clothes/wet towels; bunks need individual lights; box storage is good size but awkward when two people need access to their things - lockers would be better (there was plenty of room in the dorm to install lockers).

EARPLUGS are essential - fellow-hostellers were great, but traffic and pedestrian noise dreadful, all night.

Unfortunate nowhere to even make a hot drink or sandwich- no cups, plates or cutlery available- always feel asking the kitchen staff to borrow a plate or cutlery is 'not on'. Room 37 too small for 5 people- lockers could be allocated differently so hostellers don't get in each others' way. Need more places to hang things, perhaps some shelves would help. Some maintenance issues: many toilets & showers were out of order- not enough to begin with. Squeaky bedroom doors; hot water tap in 37 faulty.

Hello Pam, Thank you for your feedback, it is very useful to us. Our hostel doesn't have self-catering facilities, but we usually allow guests to borrow plates and cutlery and use the restaurant space at any time. We'll take note about the lockers allocation. We have recently added hangers in all the rooms, and after checking the tap you mention it seems to be working at the moment. We appreciate you took the time to share your opinions and hope to see you again in the future. Soledad Duty Manager

Better bed bases wouldn't cost too much and would make sleeping a little easier! Rob very helpful and offering free airport transfers is a bonus.

First impression was 'ugh, dirty'. The handbasin in the communal toilet was badly stained and looked filthy. Dirty dishes were everywhere in the kitchen and not washed and put away for a couple of days. The cupboards and kitchen generally needs a facelift - dirty-looking. A lock on the toilet and shower doors wouldn't cost too much! However I decided to stay on, and Maresch was very friendly and helpful.
