this place is an absolute gem! small place but great homely atmosphere with great balconies/roof terrace. Staff are great and they can organise all the booze-sinking events you need/give good advice on where to go. I would honestly choose this over the rising cock any day!

this place is great..in a really nice old building with huge common areas and massive rooms. Not to mention the amazing views over Lisbon from the terrace and the downstairs garden. Staff are really friendly...the place should really be a hotel its that nice. Definitely the go-to hostel for Lisbon!

dont really know why people say bad things about this place, you cant expect 5 star service at a hostel? one of the better hostels ive stayed in for sure. Very homely feel, not like the sterile institution feeling you get in other places. Rooms are decent, 3 mins to tube, free breakfast and wifi are all winners in my book. A little bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Staff were also friendly and helpful, especially the aussies (no bias I swear).

In terms of accommodation it had everything you needed, but really lacked any character. Was more hotel orientated and really big and pretty sterile. Rooms were very small as well. Location, staff and security all great though!

Great hostel, felt more like a home than anything. Good character and very comfy. Everyone got together every night and went out, so it was a welcome relief from the typical sterile hostels. Really friendly and helpful staff as well!

Keep up the good work guys! Rooms were a little hot but we'll blame the hungarian summer for that! Will definitely see me again.
