really nice foyer, newly renovated. staff very friendly and helpful. the rooms themselves were pretty old and little run down and worn. they were clean enough but we did find a used condom under the beef when see were leaving.
just an average hostel over all, needs pretty thin and very creaky.
STAY HERE!! We have never had such a helpful hostel owner in our 9 months of travelling! Omar is fantastic, gave us tonnes of information, made sure we had enough time to do things and even when we missed out bus, he called them to come back and pick us up. Beds are comfy and warm, showers hot and always clean. Kitchen has everything and Omar makes a great breakfast with fruit, omelette, cereal, yoghurt, toast, NUTELLA.. so much! Close to buses, navimag checkin.
reception staff were frustratingly useless when we tried to check in. rooms are big, beds are comfy, pretty creaky floors so noisy when trying to sleep. pool is nice to hang around and everything was fairly clean. have loads of couches to chill out on, massive hostel overall.
Funky hostel, really does feel like a hotel! We stayed in a private and had our own bathroom, clean towels and soap provided. Great deco, just renovated. Breakfast was also really good value, fruit, juice, tea coffee, yoghurt and toast with ham/cheese/jam. Definitely going back when we return to Santiago in a few weeks!
cute little place. could do with another bathroom and also a dining room. there is no where to eat/sit when u cook your meals. kitchen is also tiny. staff were fairly helpful
Modern hostel, good kitchen, lots of tables and lounging areas - inside and out. Rooms we comfortable, beds excellent. Great location near the beach. Staff were pretty average - reception desk was always unattended and staff would be sitting at the tables outside, partying. Annoying when you needed info/room keys.

The place to party if you want to party. Bar staff are insanely fun. Food is pretty good, not the cheapest but pretty convenient. Would make a great hostel a fantastic hostel if it had a kitchen. Quite clean too, given the size of the place. We started in a 6 bed dorm and moved to a 14 bed dorm, felt more spacious in the larger, cheaper dorm. Good lockers in the dorms, can nearly fit your entire backpack in them. Bed comfortable and big too. We stayed 3 nights then came back for another 4!
Really really nice staff! Free bus stop pick up if you email in advance. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Very accommodating with a luggage storage. Very quiet atmosphere, great place to chill. Breakfast is not included but they can make food if requested.
really nice building, comfortable beds. Say they have security lockers but if they are full you have no where to lock your things, you have to leave them with reception. Breakfast is nice. Kitchen is okay, not nearly enough plates/utensils etc. Shower and toilet facilities aren't the best, broken/leaky. No hot water either. One shower has a minute of hot water randomly every now and then but otherwise they are all cold. Nice and close to a huge supermarket and cafes/restaurants.
Great place to get a away from it all and experience the tranquility of the amazon. Steve and Irma are so so helpful, really do make the difference in your stay. Rooms are big, basic facilities but still comfortable. Fully screened off from mosquitos. If you choose to eat there, Irma makes tasty, big hearty meals. The staff can provide lots of information on getting around, tours and transport out of Leticia. Definitely recommend.
Nice hostel, good place to chill. Good kitchen, staff were helpful. Dorm beds very comfortable though a little cramped. Nice roof top bar to chill. Has a small inflatable pool, not the cleanest but is a good option if you dont want to walk all the way down to the beach. Also has a bbq you can use.
Great place to stay! Sean and Suzana are soooo friendly and great to sit back with and have a few beers. It was like staying with friends. They were so accommodating and helpful with lots of advice on place to check out. The casa is clean and the rooms comfortable. They have a very secure door that is always locked so you don't need to worry about security. A few great restaurants next door where you can get some huge meals for a decent price.
Great place!! Clean, bright, fun atmosphere, great kitchen. Staff really helpful, in particular Gisella. Have different events during the week - Karaoke, open mic, language exchange, salsa lessons - really adds to the stay.H uge selection of movies. Close to some salsa bars and the metro but the hostel is that fun, you don't want to leave! Great to mingle or just chill. But do watch you food in the fridge, we labeled as instructed but still had a bag thrown out. Will be going back in a week!
Set in the beautiful country of Santa Elena, the location is good if you want to retreat for a while. The actual hostel is disgusting. Over 2 nights/3 days and not ONCE did the bathroom get cleaned. The first day it had muddy footprints and hairballs on the floor, grime on the sink and a toilet that didn't flush. The house was dusty and tables/floors sticky. Beer bottles left everywhere. Our beds were so hard we couldn't sleep. Staff and guests smoke weed 24/7.
Pretty good location. Staff very friendly, not too many of them around. Often guests would have to answer the door. Toilet bins not emptied often enough and toilet paper often ran out - probably due to the lack of staff. There are two Alegria's too, which is confusing. We booked into one the first night, but had to move the next day. Both are very cute and cosy though. Some rooms have fireplaces which you can light, jut ask for some wood.
