Location is bad. only interesting if come or go to airport. Taxi of the hotel is expensive. there are a lot of taxis in the street in front of the hotel you can take for less. Also in de middel of the night.

Nice hostel, still starting up but with lots of potential. The village is much nicer and prettier than Aguas Caliëntes and we advise everybody, who is not desparate to catch a sunrise at Machu Picchu, to stay the night in Ollantaytambo and to make shure to enjoy the attractions there as well
We had room 6. The window to the hal could not be locked. The private bathroom was not an ensuite. Bathroom was opposite of the room. Staf is friendly en rooms are clean. Pizza at 'Mamma's' ,around the corner were the best in south america sofar.

Really nice hostel on a quiet little square in a beautifull neighbourhood and on walkingdistance from the main square. Good double room with clean bathroom, good common kitchen and nice breakfast. We booked a 3-day tour to the Colca Canyon at the hostel. The price was slightly higher than at touragencies, but we got a good guide Roy and little extra's, like pillows to sleep on in the bus and fresh juices for breakfast. It was a great trip.
There was something wrong with the pluming in our room. we were offert a good solucion and stayed in a 3* hotel for the same price: hotel ameticano. Surflessons are great fun!!!
Nice hostel for people under 30 who like to sit outside till late in the evening and party. Not for people how like quiet hostels and have to wake up early for excursions. Bring good earplugs!!! Staf is nice and helpfull.
Nice hostel with decent rooms, clean bathrooms and a cozy common area. There is a little kitchen for common use, a good breakfast and cool drinks and coffee/tea are for sale. It's a 15 min walk to the center and it's usefull to take a flashlight when going out at night.
Decent hostel within 15 mins walk of the city center through a safe street. Double rooms are okay, but the ones near the reception/common space are quite noisy. When we asked for another room, staff was very helpful and gave us a quieter room.
Malibu is a very new hostel with a enthusiastic staff, that is woriking hard to make a succes of it, friendly and helpfull. Rooms are neat but small and the twin private is more a dorm for two persons, because there are two rooms behind each other, so you have to pass through one room to get to the other. The 'bathroom' in between is a toilet with a washbasin, but to small to use the shower. There is another (big) bathroom you can use however. The common areas are nice, as is the roofterrace
Friendly family, decent room and bathroom and good common kitchens
Nice ambience, but very thin walls and really basic (double) rooms and breakfast
Nice, big and clean rooms. Kitchen on the topfloor is good and cosy.
Wifi in the room would be great, but otherwise nice hotel with big rooms on a super location
Great location but rather expensive for a hostel and no free wifi
Pity that the wifi doesn't work in the rooms. Friendly and adequate staff
Simple but nice room and peacefull garden, friendly staff.
Food is good but WiFi is poor (not working a lot of times and no availability in the room)
No hot showers in the communal bathroom and could not sleep because of the rats running around on the roof of the second floor rooms (even with earplugs). Good place for meeting other hikers though and getting information of them, information from the guesthouse about the Tiger Leaping Gorge trek was poor. Good place to store your luggage (even if you don't stay the night)
The (female) staff at the reception was unhelpfull and uninterested. Wifi worked poorley and didn't work in de bar/restaurant at all. Drinks in the bar were either warm (beer and soda) or cold (coffee). Rooms are so small that there is hardly any space to put your luggage. Rental bikes were not available because they were broken. In all: not an hostel we would recommend.
Wifi is really slow sometimes or even unavailable. No wifi in the room. Receptionstaff very helpfull and friendly. Bathroom is cleaned several times a day, super! Drinks (in the bar) are very expensive, so we hardly bought any. We don't understand why, because the drinks at the reception are much cheaper.
Room (double) was nice and clean, free laundry en good location. Service in the bar/restaurant was slow, so take your time
