Thumbs View Lodge was the perfect place to stay at Cape Maclear. The owners and the staff were friendly, responsive, helpful, respectful, and kind.

The staff, especially Grace, were some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of staying with. Kweza has a culture of friendly helpfulness. I booked a ride through the Nairobi National Park through Kweza and saw dozens of water buffalos, 4 lions, 3 rhinoceroses, a giraffe and a bevy of birds. Kweza knows Nairobi.

I loved your staff, especially your staff, so great job with who you are hiring and their attitude and knowledge of the area. It is time to update your lounge, seating area in to the left of the entry as you come indoors. The brown mat/carpet needs to be replaced with something that doesn't look so dirty and worn-out. Keep it up, you've got a really good thing going there. Cheers!

The hostel was altogether unprepared for inclement, coastal weather. Most of the walks are uncovered and so if it is raining, you are going to get soaked. The internet connection was the worst I've experienced in Europe, hands down, having now visited over 20 European countries, including Albania.
