Smallest room we've ever stayed in. Quite pricey for what it is. Location is fantastic and so are the staff. Don't stay here if you are over 6 foot tall like myself, you will not fit in the bed straight out therefore taking up your partners room. Great private room for a single traveller.

Good hostel, has most things you need. Great location with everything walkable. A little pricey for what it is. Staff very helpful. Had to fold in half to get through the 1m high interesting shower door.

Great hostel, staff are super helpful and the location is great with everything very easy walkable. Beer vending machine in the kitchen is awesome. Nice cheap laundry. Futons were surprisingly comfortable in the private rooms.

Friendliest and most accommodating, helpful staff we've come across in a hostel. Airport transfer is great at $5USD each way. Saput was very helpful in organising our transport to various sights around Kathmandu. Solar hot water so shower early. Even with Kathmandu's constant power cuts there is still lighting and internet available which was great. Roof top terrace is beautiful and has an amazing view. Rooms can get a little cool. Great location.

Good hostel, has all the basics. Location is excellent, close to all the attractions. Staff are very helpful. Air conditioner in the rooms but reception has only 1 remote so you have to ask to put it on/off which is annoying. Bathroom facilities are a little poor but they work fine.

Read other reviews about thin walls, wow no kidding! Might as well not have walls. Terrible internet when it actually worked. Shower head wouldn't stay up, place smelt like cigarette smoke lots. Owners mobile phone rang out full volume at all hours minimum 5 times every night waking all rooms up. So bad that our neighbours bashed down our door at 0330 yelling at us to be quiet. Went and spoke to the owner about it, he didn't care, told us to sort it ourselves. Other facilities and location fine.

Terrible security. No locks on any doors, you can just walk in to the dorms with no one noticing. Stunk like cigarettes all the time as the staff all smoked inside. Fridge stinks and has off open food in it. Shower heads don't stay up which is very annoying. Kitchen is adequate with enough of everything. Super comfy beds and a good setup in the dorms. Walkable to everything including a big supermarket.

Excellent hostel, good location with most things walking distance and a cheap supermarket next door. Staff very helpful. Saw the housekeeper open our locker, have a look and close it back up. Nothing missing but not sure why she had to open it. Kind of defeats the purpose of a personal locker really so keep things locked inside your locker.

Excellent hostel, more like an apartment. Facilities were good and the staff helpful with a great location close to attractions, supermarket etc. All single beds in the 8 bed dorm so nice to not have bunk beds for a change. No door between the kitchen and the bedroom so if people want to sleep early it is difficult. Make sure to get the common room door code every day as reception closes early and if you decide to use the common room after 7pm you cant.

Some of the worst beds we've ever slept on in many hostels this year, its just a piece of foam. Facilities otherwise are good with a nice common room/kitchen and good bathrooms. Location is great. Constantly stank of cigarettes as there is a bar downstairs with an enclosed alley way where people smoke and it drifts into the rooms up the stairwell.

Good hostel, close to everything. Very quiet so when people walk down the hall you can hear everything. Showers don't have a lot of privacy as the main bathroom door opens right out into the hallway while you're naked. Close supermarket and a nice common area/kitchen. Laundry service ruined the majority of our clothes but the staff handled and resolved the situation professionally.

Arrived around 5 mins before a Busabout group and got half way thru the check in process and were abandoned for about 15 mins while they helped them. Facilities were good but the dorms were very dirty, filled an entire garbage bag with rubbish off the floor which reception had to come and collect. Great location for walking to pretty much everywhere you want to see.

One of the worst hostels we've ever stayed in. Rude, lazy and unhelpful staff. Lockers were easily pulled open with a bit of force as the hinges were missing. Super small free standing bunks with no railing. Bathrooms didn't lock (you can see through the keyhole) and were dirty, even the toilet was crooked! Had a kitchen, but nothing to actually cook with, not even 1 knife or fork so pointless. Signs everywhere stating fines for things. No laundry as advertised. Don't waste your time and money.

Excellent hostel, even though we ended up with a rowdy group of 24 at the same time as us. The staff were very good at managing them and keeping them under control during quiet time etc. Plenty of clean bathrooms and a decent size kitchen for that size hostel. Dorm floors could use a sweep under the beds as there is a lot of dust build up.

Great hostel, close enough to everything that you don't need to catch the metro. Staff very helpful. Kitchen is small with only 2 burners. Great bathroom and shower facilities. Common area is nice too. Floor could do with cleaning a little more, we constantly had black soles of our feet just from the walk from after a shower to bed.

Hostel is pretty good, definitely a party hostel as it is a bar/restaurant downstairs. No real quiet area to sit on the internet as it doesn't work in the rooms and is very slow all the time. Nice to have curtains on the beds for extra privacy. Housekeeping staff were extremely rude waking us up and telling us to "get out and go away so I can change the bed" whilst we were still sleeping around an hour before we had to check out at 10:30. Other staff very good and helpful.

The hostel lost our booking but managed to find us a room in the end. Staff are really more bar staff rather than hostel staff. Don't seem too interested to help unless you are in the bar drinking/eating/spending money. Facilities are clean and adequate. Triple bunk bed mattresses are a little thin.

Place was very comfortable and clean in a great location. Staff were very helpful also. Anyone could easily walk in though, all you have to do is ring the doorbell. Have a wristband for security that you have to wear and show but we took ours off 10 mins after arriving and made no difference in 5 days. Do not buy the locks from reception as anyone else that has bought one can open your lock, the keys work for all of them, reception didnt seem to care when told.

This hostel was good value for money and the staff were fantastic. Really enjoyed dumpling making night with Julie. Beds really need new mattresses but apparently getting done soon. Enjoyed our stay here. Need a labelling system in the kitchen though as everyone shops at the same place and keeps their food in the same coloured shopping bags in the fridge.

Location and staff were good, however the facilities are pretty ordinary. Do not go off the photos, dorms are tiny, smallest 8 bed we've seen in a year of travel, bout 3x4m being generous with no ventilation, hate to be there in summer. Didn't have a warm shower once our entire stay. Our biggest issue was the FALSELY ADVERTISED picture of the stovetop. The "kitchen" only has a fridge, a pie warmer and a microwave, pretty hard to save money when u have to eat out as backpackers. Do not recommend!
