Staff were great for the duration of my stay (almost 2 weeks) and had a great time there. It is very close to the nightlife of Playa but still quiet enough to have a good nights sleep. The dorm was spacious, comfortable and kept cool by a/c. The hostel was fairly lively and is a good place to start the night, especially with their all you can drink happy hour for $4US but it depended who was there that night.

Probably the best breakfast I have ever had in a hostel with 7 choices on offer that taste great and fill you up. Staff were helpful but it seemed like a few people staying had some issues that could have been handled better, but I had no problems. Dorms were comortable and the hostel is close to the centre. Booked a shuttle to Lanquin but it seems to be half th price going the other way (only 60Q).

Nice relaxing small hostel run by a very friendly couple. Is located very close to the lake and just off the main strip. Little hard to find but the directions were good. Had a nice breakfast on my last day with them that normally isnt provided. Wish I had more time to stay.

This hostel has the 2nd best kitchen I have encountered at a hostel... no 1 is on the other side of this hostel, so they have the two best kitchens. Great place on all acounts, great spacious dorms, nice chill out areas and a pool. And Carlos is one of the best hostel managers there is. 100% all the time.

Was a great location right on the water and great for swimming and seemed good for diving. Room was basic and got quite warm despite the fan, but was good value. There wasnt much to do at the accom when the sun went down. The deck was really good for chilling out and snorkling.

Great hostel. The dorm room was very spacious with the largest beds I have experienced in a hostel, and individual fans and lights. Nice places to hang out and relax and the staff were very helpful in suggesting trips and exploring the city. Had a great time.

This has been one of the best hostels I have been to in Latin America. It is extremly comfortable and feels more like a boutique hotel. There is a nice area to relax in the back (cooking outside) and its close to the downtown commercial area. But the biggest highlight is the staff, you will be taken care of by the best. Would recommend to anyone.

Its a nice place to stay but it is a very basic hostel so dont expect more, but the staff are great and make up for this, so its perfect if you just need somewhere to base yourself while you explore the area. The one negative is that the hostel is very dark and there is not a lot of sunlight which is a shame when you are there to experience the outdoors. Would have been nice to sit in the sun, but the park is not far away.

Best large hostel I have stayed in. Does everything extremly well. Always something going on and is busy at night, but was easy to have an early night. The staff were really good and helpful arranging a boat to Panama. The hostel is nice and has a good communal area in the back. The location is very central but is on a noisy street and there is a lot noise from the bars which can make it hard to sleep, so not ideal if you want an early night. Other than that it is a good place to stay.

Highlight of this big hostel is the large outside area, perfect for hanging out, swimming or playing sports. The tv room is also great and they have lots of recent films. Rooms are comfortable and enough showers. Staff were helpful overall but the hostel arranged a few events that never happend which was a shame. There is a good opportunity to have a good activity program here with a little effort. Lastly the location is great and close to the metro and the nightlife.

Nice cosy hostel near to the historic town. The staff are very helpful and are always available to offer advice and didnt just push their excursions. They gave good advice for what to do during the day and at night. Rooms were nice and beds comfortable. Only negative would be that it gets a bit cold at night so you need warm clothes indoors. Breakfast is just fresh croissants. Overall enjoyed my stay

Excellent hostel right on the beach, but it is a bit of a walk to town (not always bad). Staff are really good and the cleaners appear to be always cleaning. The bar is busy most nights and the restaurant is really good value with big portions. Rooms can be a bit warm at night but this would be my only complaint Great place to relax by the pool and beach and have some good nights out.

Hostel is pretty average. It could be nice with some more effort put in but at the moment it lacks some basics. The rooms were quite cold and the hostel was not really heated. Bathrooms were good, but again cold. The roof terrace was nice but could be improved as there were wires hanging everywhere and no seats to relax in (only old hammocks). I would recommend if you dont mind sleeping a little rough.

The hostel does everything well and it is hard to find fault. Rooms are comfy and spacious and the bar is always busy at night and always a great atmosphere. This is a great hostel to use as a base to explore Asuncion and relax. There is plenty of space and chilling with music by the pool in the garden is a definate highlight. The staff are friendly and create a good atmosphere. Only a few blocks from the centre (although not much there), breakfast was good but basic. Rooms had big lockers under the beds, only negative i can think of was the AC is a little strong in the rooms, but its better than no AC at all.

Not much of a hostel, more like a bar with some rooms above. There are no hostel facilities (common areas, kitchen) and there are only a few small lockers in the main office. The beds did not feel safe - one was broken and there was only one basic bathroom on the second floor (as ground floor was out of service). The young guy at reception was helpful but everyone else made things harder. Didnt feel welcome there.

The hostel has a nice modern design but is let down by a few small things, i.e. loose door handles. A few small improvements is all that is needed. A good hostel but with a bit of work could be great. Kitchen was large but the oven and half of the stoves didn't work. The 14 bed dorm is large and spacious and is good value for money.
